Supreme Fish Delight — Restaurant in Georgia

I had to work late last night for memorial Day weekend and I didn't get home until after 3:00 a.m. . I was hungry and tired but too tired to cook something to eat. So when I got up today I wanted catfish but I was still too tired to cook anything. I own my own business and I work really hard and it caught up with me. So I googled the nearest fish place and it said this one. I also have been looking at that same fish spot for over 2 months as I am new to the area and wanted to try it. I love fish. I'm sad to say that it was VERY disappointing. Although the customer service was excellent, I cannot say the same about the food. The fish was under seasoned and did not taste very good at all to me ( I discovered it was SWAI FISH AND NOT CATFISH!!) I'm also a professional chef and an excellent cook myself with my own catering business for the last 17 years so I know what good food taste like. I'm sad to say, this was not it. I had read the reviews on Google prior to me going and although there were some bad reviews from a year ago I saw a couple of good reviews and decided to try it anyway. I wish I had've listened to the reviews. 😮‍💨😕 Not only was it not worth the $25 that I spent on the combo plate and dessert, but I SPECIFICALLY asked for the LEMON CAKE TWICE! But as you can see from the photograph they gave me some type of pound cake with some white icing on it which was VERY DRY THICK AND TERRIBLE TO EAT. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but I told the Man twice that I wanted the lemon cake and I DON'T understand why he gave me pound cake! I would take the whole plate back but I don't even feel like the argument..so I just WASTED $25.00!! I did get wings too, they were good...but everything else was TERRIBLE.. and I was truly looking forward to that LEMON cake..its my favorite....so much for active listening and next time I'll just cook my own catfish at home, that way I know it will turn out well. This was my 3rd visit to Supreme Fish delight, but was not pleased with second visit, so I never returned until recently. I wanted fish, and I was about to visit Captain Ds, then I thought about Supreme, but I hadn't been there in years. I decided to give them a 3rd try. What a horrible decision! I ordered trout, fries, fried okra. I also asked about the size of the fish, cashier claimed it was a nice portion. She also did not mention that fried okra was 1.50 more, so inside the restaurant she opens box...a lot of fries and a lot of fried okra. Fish is sitting pretty in the box, I get home it was just what I thought it would be, a lot of fries and okra, and 2 ultra thin, dry, unseasoned pieces of fish, mainly skin. I paid 12 bucks for this! THIS is why I don't support small, neighborhood restaurants..Service and Quality, important factors in the restaurant business, not lies and shoddy, cheap food. I don't mind paying extra for great food, but I do have a problem with small portions of the protein, and it being terrible. I will NEVER return, 3 strikes and Supreme Fish Delights is OUT, and I definitely will NEVER reccomend! Damn I should have hit up Captain Ds!..or better yet go to grocery store and fry my own!! Went here 1-2 months ago for the 1st time. I ordered the 3pc whiting combo.

I was a bit surprised they added 1 more whiting fish with my order at no charge. The whiting fish is so thin that they should revise/change* the amount of whiting fish you get in the combo. The seasoning on the fish is so flat you'll immediately feel like you have to add your own seasoning on the fish at the place or At home.

They cook the Fries incorrectly where they take them out from the fryer too early leading to the results of tasting soft plus not cooked long enough fries where you'll have to make sure to request Crispy or Extra-Crispy if you want your fries to be done just right.

*How the menu should be for the whiting fish combos at ALL Supreme Fish Delight locations......

Fortunately there are some other places to get better Fish combo meals from & Just skip this place all together unless they change up certain things in the menu along with the prices.
