Hong Kong City Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Redan

I really enjoy the Chinese food from this location. I reminds me of the ones back home and although it lacks the luster and flair of a high end Chinese restaurant the food here is not to be taken for granted. It’s always better to get take out since the establishment is extreme small and although it does I wouldn’t recommend eating on site. The menu is pretty standard for what you would expect out of a Chinese food place and basically when you’ve seen one you sort of have seen them all but the difference is the food is actually good! I always order pork fried rice with whole wings and I’ll either add in an egg roll or wontons. The whole wings are a good size, a good portion of rice, and food make and packaged with care. Your never missing anything , forks spoons napkins, which believe it or not seem trivial to complain about until you actually need one to eat your food lol. You can taste the quality. One thing that irks me about eating anything fried is cooking the food in old oil. You can not only sometimes see it visibly with the color of your food but worst of all taste it. Not...

Will NOT be coming back. Each time Ive went, the workers were extremely racist and rude. They were not withholding their rudeness and dislike of me. After the third and final time when I received the same overly rude and nasty treatment, I knew it was racism. It's always the same guy at the front too. He speaks to me like I'm dumb, shouted at me and while I'm waiting glares at me like he hates black people. I'm not stupid. I refuse to eat from a place where they hate me. It was so bad the first time I wanted to cancel the whole order, but I hadn't eaten the entire day. The last time I went ,I didn't even want to but it was the only thing still open. This was my first time ordering here. I should have changed my mind when she stated cash only or $10 min with card. Picked up my food. I order lemon pepper wings with fries. I ended up adding to my order a large tea and shrimp egg roll to make the $10 min. When I start d to eat my food, I got 4 regular chicken wings versus 8 wings, my French fries were dry like they were just placed back in the fryer. The same as my chicken wings and eggroll. It’s had a old grease taste to it or it had been sitting and then dropped back in to be hot. Over cooked food. Then I opened up my egg roll and it had two extra small pieces of shrimp and he rest cabbage. I tried to use ducks sauce or something to help. It didn’t help. The only good part was the tea.
