I placed an order early last Christmas, I called before I drove over 45 minutes. was told come in about an hour after my original time.
I went back as requested by the staff, drove 45 mins, and hour later. I was sold old bread. I ordered fresh baked Guyanese Christmas bread loaf. The staff on the register stated the owner was tired, and her staff all left to go home for the holidays. I recommended the owner should have closed her business. The bread was hard as though it was frozen and thawed, sold as fresh, and the staff pretended it was freshly baked. No matter how good the food is when prepared properly, this was horrible, and yo lie this wax freshly baked, to easy to lie, about bread, Wow! This Everyone in line started to complain about their food orders. We all waited over an hour to get old food. Horrible experience, will not go back...
Read moreCalled in to order doubles. The woman who answered the phone said the doubles were $3. When we got there she charged $4. We explained to the cashier that the woman quoted $3 for 12 doubles. The cashier refused to ask the other woman or adjust the price for 12 doubles. She rudely asked my husband, what you want to do? My husband explained this is not our error but the cashier wouldn't budge. All she kept saying is what you want to do? (Poor customer service)
Coming from New York,I never saw or tasted doubles like this before. I guess doubles is only a Trini specialty. Not Guyanese.I won't order that again
To the owner, customer service goes a long way. You can expect people to buy from you when you mislead or are rude to customers. First time going there and I was...
Read moreThe food was very salty. I ordered the oxtails, curry goat and rasta pasta with shrimp, chicken and veggies in it. I paid $55 altogether and they do charge extra for using debit, which was ridiculous. The oxtails was a 4/10. The flavor was OK and it wasn't as salty as the goat. It was a lot of fat. The rasta pasta was 6/10. The chicken in it is what brought the rating down. It was a lot of bones in it. Would've thought they'd use breast meat. The goat, OMG, was sooooo salty. It had no flavor, just pure salt and a lot of skin with fat. Overall, the only dish I'd consider buying again is the pasta. Complete waste of money with everything else. Bless the cook heart and their heavy hand with...
