My friends and I came to this small business family owned Mexican restaurant after we came back from a long day at lake Lanier. The restaurant was next to a supermarket and there’s plenty of parking. It was definitely a hole in the wall restaurant which you know will be good! We were greeted by a server when we came in and was told we can sit anywhere. She later came back and asked if it was our first time there and we told her yes. We were given free guac and chips since it was our first time which I thought that was so nice. The server told us the daily special and two of my friends got one of the special, quesabirria, and I ordered bistec a la mexicana. Everything was so good and authentic! The owner, Carlos, came out to greet us and offered us to try some of the fresh drinks they had. He took his time to talk with us and told us more about his business journey. He was so nice to offer us a couple more small stuff to try from the menu. We have never had such a nice and inviting experience at a restaurant like this before. He took his time to explain each of the different dishes that I never thought to try and will now expand my options and try something new. They have special dishes mainly on weekend but also some of weekday too! Price was reasonable, food was amazing, and service was phenomenal. We had such a great experience and will continue to support their business and share this place to...
Read moreEditing a review for the first time ever. I had my cuban friend pick up and the food is second to none 👨🍳
That said, I literally am unable to forget the #1 worst dining attempt ever. It took me back to grade school cafeteria BS. I can’t stop thinking about how much your customers embarrassed my innocent children. I’m avoiding showing up in person because, after thinking for weeks, Im only more angry and concerned.
I just hate this situation. I can’t doc you stars for your idiot customers 🤦♀️ I also don’t believe this to be a 5 star dining experience because of them.
I retract nothing from my previous review. The hard feelings stand until I finally calm down enough to show my face in your dining room. Until then, this isn’t over.
Meanwhile, I’ll dine at Sarabellas. Either way, thanks for making amazing food. That should be all that matters; but unfortunately, when you’re in the 4-5 star range, it isn’t. I now want to enjoy that food in your dining room with my family (minus...
Read moreIf you’re craving authentic, homemade Mexican food, this local gem is an absolute must-visit. The menu is filled with a fantastic range of dishes that showcase the heart and flavor of true Mexican cuisine. Start your meal with their freshly made chips – they’re perfectly crispy and addictive, easily some of the best around. You might even be tempted to make a trip just for the chips alone!
Each dish we tried was a hit, with bold flavors and high-quality ingredients that made every bite memorable. And for dessert lovers, their rice pudding is an excellent choice to round out the meal, with just the right amount of sweetness and a creamy, comforting texture that hits the spot.
This place combines great food with a warm atmosphere that’s inviting and family-friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic, homemade Mexican dishes right...
