Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

Went to go eat , had 8 people with us. was told you can only sit 5 people to a booth , we did just that and sat the other three at the bar top. we were all going to pay separately. got told we couldnt be served because we had more than 5 people. the lady named “kay” with pink hair, kicked us out. was telling other customers we were harassing other customers and was supposedly “drunk.” may i add we were not. then they were telling others , we were harassing other customers that came up and talked to us that werent being served. they were saying we were being loud when we walked in , but we no where near loud, we listened when they told us to back up so they could clean the table. other party of 7 walked in and told them they couldnt be served either. we had more than one person try and stand up for us , wondering why they wouldnt serve us. there was this gentleman who had to stand outside to wait for his to-go order because they would not let him sit inside and wait for it. we will not be returning to this location. very poor service from every single one of the girls that were in there “working.” all we were wanting was to sit down and have some food before we ended our fun night that we were having. they straight...

This was one of the worst visits I’ve ever had. The food was okay — nothing to complain about there — but it’s the principle for me. We came in as a party of 8 (4 adults and 4 children) after a camping trip, just looking to enjoy a good family meal.

Our server, a woman with short black hair (didn’t catch her name), started the experience off completely wrong by asking the children for their orders before even addressing the adults. Mind you, the oldest child looked about 12. Since when do servers skip the parents and talk to minors like they’re footing the bill?

We corrected her, and she said she’d “put it all together,” but by then, it was clear the communication was off. No clarification on how things were to be split or ordered, which led to us being overcharged. That’s exactly what happened.

Word of advice: don’t talk to minors before speaking to their guardians. This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Waffle House, seriously… get it together. Sheeesh....

Been here a few times. Food has always been good. Service today (3/5/23) sucked. Young waitress. Got my drink.. and then an older man came in and sat in booth next to me. It needed cleaning off. Waitress made him get up while she got the dishes off the table. I overheard him mumble about his feet were hurting. A friend of his came in and then they both sat at said booth. Waitress came back over to wipe the table (after 5 mins went by).. she said she can't clean tables if people are sitting at them, while another waitress wiped another table with people sitting at it. She was very rude to these older men. And not so friendly towards me either... idc if you're having a bad day or not, you do NOT take it out on customers. Also.. a few minutes later, I got my food, in which this same waitress gave part of my order to another table.. I wish I had gotten her name bc cooperate would've definitely gotten a...
