Went through the drive thru on 7/1/22 around 9:40 pm. When we pulled in, we noticed the lights were off inside the restaurant, but there was a person (employee, I presume) sitting at one of the tables on their phone. We didn’t plan on going inside anyways, so we continued to the drive thru where we sat patiently for someone to greet us on the speaker. This lasted for 15 minutes. I guess whoever was inside thought we did not see them, which was not the case. After waiting there for about 10 minutes (still no greeting through the intercom), I noticed a car drive around the restaurant, which I thought was someone simply coming and going once they saw that no one was being served. While we continued to wait, I physically had to get out of the vehicle to tell OTHER customers who had pulled up behind us what was going on. Once I finally talked the person I was with into leaving (I would have NEVER waited this long, but he really wanted Krystal), we drove around to leave which is when we saw the car that had pulled around earlier, PARKED in front of the pick up window. We saw one person leaving from inside and the employee who was “working.” Apparently said employee only wants to cook for friends and hang out. I typically don’t post negative reviews, but this experience was just absolutely unacceptable. No one would communicate with us and even PRETEND to come up with a bogus “we closed early” story. It was quite a shame, as my significant other loves Krystal burgers. Do better, Thomson. Ps- I couldn’t add to the review what I ordered- because I never...
Read moreWe just drove through and ordered at the speaker. The employee told us after we ordered to drive up to the window. We re-ordered at the window.
The receipt was completely wrong—two orders were not what at all what we asked for, sides that we didn’t order, and two of the drinks were wrong. We ordered a #1 with cheese, fries for the side, Diet Coke for the drink. A #5 with tots and Diet Coke, and a #5 with fries and a Dr Pepper. The receipt said three #4s with Coke, Diet Coke, and Dr Pepper and chili cheese fries as the side.
We waited twenty minutes at the window and my husband was polite but firm asking for a refund, because there was no indication the order would be corrected any time soon.
My husband put his drink back up on the window tray (since we weren’t paying for it) and the employee flicked it off the tray and it hit the side of our van.
I should have checked reviews before we stopped. We’re traveling through but I thought I would post so people can consider carefully before they stop here. Please don’t waste your time. We drove over to Burger King and the service was friendly and the food was...
Read moreThis place sucks! It is 6:35pm on a Monday. I am traveling with my family, they are just off of the expressway, they even have signs on the expressway to direct you to this restaurant. We stopped to grab a bite to eat and use the restroom. We arrived to find the doors locked. We assumed they were closed, but saw two people standing on the inside. We asked could we use the restroom and get some food. We were told we could not use their restroom and we would have to go Through the drive thru. Well why would I want to stop 2 places when we could choose s place to stop all at once. We ultimately went to Zaxby’s to fulfill our needs. The staff was just being lazy. There is no reason that a fast food restaurant just off of the expressway should not be open for the public. Might be why they didn’t have not one single customer the entire 35 minutes we sat in Zaxby’s. Good restaurant chain, bad employees. I even attached a photo of them just standing around...
