Okay where do i start .........You know that expression "can't tell a book by it's cover" well in this case it does not apply. Shabby on the outside shabby on the inside . Customer Service and food sub standard. Got there about 8:15 there was barely any food on the buffet station . When politely asked if they were going to put out more food she brushed me off with saying no more food close at 9:30. Their were literally crumbs in the serving pans . And the food that was plentiful over in the other station was dried out and the grease was rising to the top. Washrooms (Bathrooms) were filthy I was looking for a 4 legged creature to be coming out of the cracks in the wall . Toilet seats were broken at the hinges . So here is my thoughts ......... Lock the doors and give people a break in Thomson Ga or get a wrecking crew and start all over again . Oh and hire new staff . Not the welcoming Chinese hospitality that I have become accustomed too. No stars No attributing factor here. Looks like i am going to have to fib and give it one star to post. One more thing this was on a Saturday...
Read moreWe went to Ming wah to get some food and our waitress "Zhang" was extremely rude to us and kept on giving us really dirty looks and when we would try to ask her something she would would ignore us or just walk away and I do assure you we didn't do anything wrong we were friendly as can be but why be so rude to your customers? I asked her if I could change my drink because I asked for sweet tea and it was old and sour so she snatched it and never asked me what I wanted she also started to mumble underneath her breath something and we aren't sure what but I don't appreciate being treated such a way by anyone when I have done nothing wrong, she walked away then came back after about 5 minutes asked me what I wanted then took about 10 more minutes to bring me just a drink and yes we could see her standing there at the drinks on her phone while we were waiting, then after that we weren't done eating but it felt as if the moment we walked in the door she just wanted...
Read moreI always order from the menu now. I rarely use the buffet. The chicken mei fun is the best noodle dish I have had. I couldn't find anything like it in Savannah or back in Charleston. I always get it when I am visiting family. The sweetnsour chicken and almond chicken is always good and cooked to perfection. The crab wontons and the egg rolls are also amazing choices for sides. Chicken im broccoli is amazing and the chicken wings are big, nice quality, and amazingly cooked everytime. I stay away from the buffet, as people let their kids get up there unsupervised and it can get nasty. Also the food gets over cooked under the heat lamps. I also prefer take out because the floors can be nasty and the seats are old and cracked.Thats why its not 5 stars. If it were just about the take out I would give 5. But the inside could use some updates. So you can't go wrong with ordering off the menu and taking it home! So check it out, try the mei...
