Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

This is the poorest ran Waffle House I've visited. The staff all seemed to have a chip on their shoulders.

We (party of 2) started off at the high bar but decided to move to the low counter since it was still dirty from the last customer and no employee seemed to care.

Our waitress, (Kathy) while nice to us, was not nice to anyone else during our visit, customers or other staff. I've actually have never seen a waitress as rude as she was. She quite literally said to the folks seating themselves at a table behind us, while looking at them (and loud enough for everyone to hear) "thats ok, go ahead and sit at a dirty table. See if i wait on you". The manager on duty did not even flinch at this.

The manager was creating her own hostile situation with the 2 cooks. She was standing right in their way while they were trying to cook, calling orders in to them. I am pretty sure the orders are supposed to be called in by standing back to give them room. The manager had called out an order of 4 waffles, 3 of them were to go and 1 to be eaten at the restaurant. The cook asked a question that I couldn't hear but from what i could hear it sounded like she was asking if it were for a particular customer. The manager condescendingly replied "if you would listen, i said...(and repeated the order)". The other cook, that she was not speaking to, spoke up and said "yes ma'am". The cook she was speaking to needed a moment to gather herself and said "yes ma'am, whatever you say ma'am, ok ma'am". The restaurant was so uncomfortable.

Our waitress finally acknowledged the people behind us and walked up to them and said "people don't usually sit at dirty tables but thats ok. Im going to get it cleaned off for you." And walked away from the table saying "i only have 2 hands. People shouldn't expect me to have more." She actual said this multiple times during our visit, and each time she walked away from a customers table.

At another point, the manager was looking for the cook that she was being condescending to, and our waitress spoke up and said "shes hiding". The manager didn't hear what she had said and asked her to repeat herself. This time she answered with "shes getting something out of the back". Promptly after that, the cook came back carrying something she needed at the cook station. If our waitress knew what the cook was doing, why say something so negative and try to make the cook look bad?

She also charged me for food I didn't order or receive. I ordered 2 eggs and 2 pieces of toast. She charged me for a plate that comes with 2 eggs, toast and hash-browns.

The food did actually taste good.

We will not be back. Very...

We show up at 11:15 pm August 3rd. I order my normal ALL Star. Eggs scrambled, white toast, hashbrowns, sausage, dark pecan Waffle. I hear the cook knocking it out, get the order and boom...my faith in humanity recovers. I look down at the most perfectly presented breakfast platter I have ever gotten. No joke. Hashbrowns ringed and perfectly browned. Toast perfectly cut and bread coated completely. The scrambled eggs bowl whipped thoroughly and laid out in a perfect symmetry with the round border of the plate. Seriously, it was about a 1/4 distance from egg to brown design border of the plate! It was better than the picture on the menu! Perfect dark pecan Waffle also. I worked as a Unit Manager and used to pride myself on delivering great food, quickly. Antonio put me to shame. You have an All Star employee during an Era of Low Quality Work Pool. Keep this man Happy! Btw...our server was awesome also. Bubbly and on top of...

My boyfriend and I have been coming here periodically since we moved near this location. We always get awesome service. Our waitress is usually Jaylin and she knows our order pretty much by heart. The only issue we have ever had is with a new waitress (her name is Lilly) tonight. She refused to wash her hands after I saw her sneeze directly into her palm 3 times back to back. In fact she pretended she did, and attempted to give me silverware with those unwashed hands. I was nice when I asked her to go wash her hands and get us new silverware. She got an attitude and I then requested Jaylin to be our waitress. This is the only time we have ever had an issue here. I would still recommend this location; just not the 'snotty waitress'. Jaylin is the best in our opinion but the other waitresses (aside from Lilly)...
