Generally I get good service here. Tonight I went in and placed a to go order with my family. We sat in a booth because the counter was unbussed. There were three employees there. Even though we were the only customers there, it took about 10 minutes for someone to come over and take out order. Our server, Daviduous or something was his name, looked and acted like he was having the worst day of his life. He did not smile, act happy to have a job or even to be alive. When the food was done and it was time to pay, he didn't have my total ready. I eventually paid and left. Got home to eat and my wife's hash browns were wrong. They had put gravy on her's instead of mine. Simple enough mistake. This waffle house is only about 2 minutes from my house, so I go back to get some correctly made browns. The guy Davidovsky questions me. "Are you sure it was wrong? I did everything right." He said. Acted totally indignant, unapologetic. I say " Can you please remake the hashbrown so I can go back home again? " He drags his feet over to the cook and I hear him mumble to her "Can you make a hashbrown scattered smothered covered and chunked? I GUESS I put the gravy on the wrong hashbrown." A few minutes later, my replacement hashbrown is placed wordlessly in front of me. I go home. My wife opens it. They gave me a double hashbrown for my trouble. She takes a bite and says it tastes off and is super greasy. I try it and agree. Then I open my own plate. I got mushrooms in my browns instead of jalapenos like I asked. Also, there was no cheese in my eggs like I had asked. They had put the cheese in my wife's eggs. I didn't feel like returning again. I was tired, it was late, and I was hungry. This waffle house is super convenient for where I live. Next time I get waffle house i will probably drive past this one and go to the next one...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis rating is for the management at this location. The district manager, Kelvin to be precise. He is rude and does not respect his patrons. He walked into the location and didn't speak to anyone including his staff but 10 mins later was disrupting people to move their cars so the US Foods truck could get in. Some people had to move twice and when that wasn't enough, he motioned from outside for US to move our car instead of explaining what was going on. When we spoke on it, he didn't apologize, explain or anything. Just looked at us. He then went to the back and never came out while we were there. The waitress apologized but it was not her call nor her responsibility since he was there and the issue was in his handling of the request - not the request itself. An apology for the situation from the manager to the patrons would have gone a long way. Kelvin let us know we are nothing but numbers to Waffle House. If this is the quality of the leadership at Waffle House, I feel sorry...
