I know that I have over 10,000 followers or more that read this Google review. Because I want to be transparent about my experiences that can help others either find a place or not just stuck in the jam so let’s start with farmers Home Furniture. I open up an account in June 20, 2023. I went in and looked at a bedroom set. I was explaining that I had a 12 month free financing a depart a deposit I paid and they ran my credit score which was great. Had issues with the suit because some parts did not work 30 days after upon signing, it was told to me that the furniture was insured so they returned the dresser. They gave me a new one from there warehouse that part I did appreciate so it made me want to deal with these people. I went in and bought the living room suit to add to, my payment plan. Not knowing that this living room soup was having issues right off the bat. I went in to the store to speak to a manager speaking to a manager. It was a total different person. They said that that manager that worked there is no longer there I brought up the fact that when I looked at, what I thought was furniture insurance they had put me under some kind of life insurance policy. They said that that was their policy to cover their furniture in case anything happened to me. I disclosed that was not what I was told by the previous management person and I did not like the fact that the furniture company had information or a life insurance policy on me just to cover their furniture. I continue to speak to her to let her know about the Policy and the furniture. She told me that she could not, do anything about a pre-existing policy or the 12 month finance charge that I never got. She also was inclined to let me know that the living room furniture that was defective. Farmers Home Furniture had some defective items that came out from the warehouse and they knew it but they charge a customers full price anyway I have never dealt with such vile, scandalous, con artist, Takers with that pen and paper all my life, and the new manager said that she could not go back on pre-written agreements. So I expressed to her how dissatisfied it was. All I heard were a randomly repeated excuses. Nothing was actually done on their end. I also would like to note, I was never late for any payments always on time. But people please be aware they never updated my credit score. They never done their part. All they done was collect money. I had to dispute several things on my credit report dealing with these people like they don’t report your payments on time, see, I have to protect my credit score at all cost when dealing with people like this. My only solution for myself, was to pay the remaining balance. when I did, the new manager had the nerve to tell me that I had ex amount of store credit upon purchasing and financing another item. I told her politely that I appreciate the offer, but I would never be coming back in any Farmers furniture ever again!!!!! she could keep her credit or store credit or whatever other scam that they were trying to continue with me. So guys be careful be vigilant, be proactive when you’re signing different things and make them accountable for being a furniture place because they’re not a good furniture company so I call it a place, I will shoot you some down...

** DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE *

I visited this location on 09/25 around 4 o’clock. I came in ready to make a purchase because I really wanted a couch.

When I walked in, I looked around waiting to be greeted. It took them a while to acknowledge me, but I brushed it off thinking they were just busy.

I asked the lady about some specific couches, and instead of walking me over or helping me, she just pointed in about four different directions and told me to “go look” because they were all over the place. So me and my boyfriend went to search on our own. I thought that was odd because earlier that day I had visited five other furniture stores, and every single time someone walked us to the section, showed us options, and asked detailed questions about what we wanted. But not here! 😂

Eventually, I found a couch I liked and tried asking her a few questions. She told me she couldn’t answer anything about price or payments until we were approved through their third-party financing company. I explained that we had already been approved for $1,000 through that same company, but instead of listening, she kept trying to argue and push us to apply again.

At that point, I realized she was acting like we were a burden instead of potential customers. My boyfriend kept saying, “let’s just go, let’s just go,” and that’s when it hit me — this lady didn’t want to help us because we were a young interracial couple. She didn’t believe we had the money or credit to buy the couch. 😂

Honestly, thank God she acted the way she did, because right after we went down the road to Best Way Furniture and had an amazing experience. We got a beautiful couch at a great price, and the right person earned...

Love love love, I can’t express the amount of gratitude I have for this location, after my horrible experience at Rooms to go for the after work attire we were in, here at farmers it was genuinely a great time. When I tell you we spend hours here and every minute was a laugh and a pleasure it definitely was. They even stayed with us after closing to make sure we left satisfied. I can’t express my thankfulness to them. And having my 2 year old with me they made him feel so comfortable he left tired from all the running and happiness. I will forever recommend them to any and everyone. Thank you guys for the amazing experience!! This will be my forever store 🩷 and the best part of all WE HAVE COUCHES!!! And the most beautiful center table !!!...
