We just moved in around the corner from this store off Holcomb road and after a long Wednesday 3/17/21 decided to stop by here because Zaxbys used to be one of our favorite restaurants at our old home. Granted it was within an hour of closing, but I spent near $50 to buy dinner for my family and was incredibly disappointed and kind of felt wronged so I just wanted to share.
We ordered two signature sandwiches, two Kick’n Chicken meals, 10 fingers, and spicy fried mushrooms. We received two crumpled up packages with potato buns inside and 2 dry tenders on each bun with a small dab of sauce. I’m guessing the signature sandwiches. But there were no chicken filets. No pickles. And definitely not enough sauce to notice a flavor. The kick’n chicken sandwiches were sadly the same. 2 dry tenders and a little speck of sauce on each. The Kickn chicken sandwich recipe may have changed, I’m not sure, but I know it did used to have 3 tenders on it. To make matters worse, the toasts were applied backwards/inside out on the sandwiches so they were incredibly soggy, much like the fried mushrooms. And again, all of the tenders were super dry. I could understand if I had a longer drive home for the sogginess, but as for the other matters there’s really no excuse.
I would have much more appreciated an upfront informative that there was no fresh chicken, and it’d be a wait to prepare fresh food, or simply if they didn’t have any to prepare to let me know. I could of had the option of getting something fresh for my family, rather I wasted $40+ to receive items I did not pay for, or that were as described on the menu, and just an overall completely...
Read moreI went by at 2:29 pm this afternoon and ordered a grilled regular salad, and a “New Southwest Zalad” (photo of receipt included). I even left the balance from a 20 dollar bill as a small tip. When I first arrived at the drive through the person on the other end said “What’ll you have” very impolitely. When I got home with the salads and opened the bag, both of the styrofoam containers were smeared with food residue, like whoever packed them didn’t even wipe their hands. Upon opening them up, I found the bread was bent and cold as ice. A small bite told me it was probably laying around for a long time before being put into container. Both salads looked like somebody just opened the container and threw stuff in. There were NO SW strips on the SW salad, and no corn. Whoever put these salads together DID NOT CARE. I called and asked for the manager and a lady named Samantha told me she was the manager. I told her what had happened with the salads and she just said “can I send you some coupons in the mail”. No “I’m sorry” or “can I redo your salad” I again reiterated why I was upset, and she didn’t really seem to care beyond wanting to get me off the phone. I intend to let the store owner know…or store manager. I understand restaurants are slammed and short handed now, but you still need to take your time and at least make good food for the people who choose to eat there. If other people can’t wait in line to get their food, let them leave. I waited, but got two salads I threw away, and wasted 20 bucks. Don’t go to this place...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would . Unprofessional and unorganized staff . Spent over $100 in there today with my family of 10. Got it to go. Didn’t check the bag immediately till we got to the car . Got there and realized they didn’t put several things in our bag. When I go back they were trying to act as if we were trying to steal the food from them and giving us a hard time! ( why would I try to lie about good when I already spent over $100?) so we had to go back and forth with them telling them what they forgot and then telling us they put it in there . After that I went back to order a zaxbys club because I ordered one and they didn’t put it on there , and I asked them 3 times to make sure it’s plain . The cashier said ok. I didn’t plan on eating it till a little later and when I open it what do you know ? Everything on the sandwich . I asked for it plain because I am lactoseintollerant and now I have to Throw it away because of my allergy . If I could reccomend this store to anyone I wouldn’t . I would tell them go somewhere else . Because this was hands down the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had . And I’ve worked in all the industry’s so i try to be understanding .
