My salesman (Jon) was incredible! He gets 5 stars across the board. I noticed a couple of jeeps from road. I pass the dealership on my way home from work. I stopped in just to look, wasn't actually planning on buying at this time. Jon came out to greet me while I was looking at two different jeep Wrangler Rubicons. He was friendly and polite and not pushy like many salesman are. He offered to let me test drive each Jeep. One was a 2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that was Joose Orange and yes that's the way it's spelled. The other really caught my eye. A black Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392. The 392 was a 2021 model with 37 thousand miles. Needles to say both were priced high as Jeep as well as dealerships love their jeeps and price them as such. First I test drove the 392 and could help but grin the entire time. Next was the 2025, it was super nice with all the amenities that anyone could ever want;, however it didn't make me grin like the 392 did. Jon politely offered me to come inside after the test drives to see what kind of deals I could get and what payments I would be looking at. On a side note. I did pull in driving my 2025 JKU that's lifted 4"running 35's and has multiple upgrades. My Jeep has been paid off for many many years. Once Jon spoke with his sales manager he came back and had the paperwork on both jeeps with my trade and explained the potential payments to me. At this point, no fault of Jon's,I walked out. Payments were insane and his sales manager was low balling me on my Jeep in a bad way. Needles to say, I wasn't having it so I walked away got into my Jeep and drove home. The next day Jon texts me and asks what it would take to earn my business. I informed him that I was very happy with his approach and attitude, however I was very unhappy with his sales manager as he didn't seem to want to sell either Jeep or offer me anywhere close to what mine was worth. To make a long story short, Jon contacted me multiple times through text trying to earn my business. Initially I refused. He asked what I needed for my Jeep and what it would take to get me into the 392. I gave him my absolutes on price, trade, warranty, etc etc. I figured I wouldn't hear from him again because we were miles apart to make a deal. To my surprise Jon texted me back the same day and told me that he could meet all of my demands regarding the transaction. I made an appointment to come in two days later. Once there, no fault of Jon's he brought out the paperwork prior to running my credit and said so how would you like to pay the 5 grand down. At this point I was livid and informed him; I never said I was putting anything down, my trade is it! He said that they had received a text stating I wanted to pay that amount down. I informed him I made no such text and wasn't putting anything down. He went and talked to his sales manager once again and came back fairly quickly apologizing that a mistake had been made on their behalf. I won't go into detail but things detailed again, no fault of Jon's, however we were able to come to an agreement eventually. My terms were eventually met and I did drive away in my 392. Anyone looking for a good salesman all for Jon. If possible don't even speak to his sales manager. Thanks again Jon, you deserve 5 stars. My overall experience at the dealership with everyone but Jon only deserves a half a star. Therefore my final...
Read moreCustomer service and customer follow up is an absolute joke ! If the sales manager’s or employees would actually call customers back after taking all the information down that would be a start. If you call and ask for them they are always at lunch conveniently. I personally have been dealing with trying to get in touch “certain” people over a car deal for over a month. Initially started about a Tahoe the salesman never got back with me and it sold. He asked me if my phone number was a good number to get back asked me what I wanted what I was willing to spend, and I never heard another word from him. Then it started with another vehicle that my dad was looking at and we ended up deciding we needed two vehicles and we would be paying cash since mentioning that we have gotten nothing but a horrible run around and no call back. I have a cousin that works at the dalton location in management but being a ringgold native I wanted to keep our business and money local. We have a company business and as contractors we try to do everything within our community. It’s crazy that financing a car will get you a car deal but wanting to pay cash and no one wants to work a deal ? It’s the strangest thing I have every seen. I mean we’re not trying to cut into the profit off the front end or off the back end there’s always enough write up in new cars with incentives that this lot would still be making money. For the past month I have been on this lot looking at certain vehicles and had every intention of giving them business and I firmly believe Word of mouth is everything . Absolutely unprofessional customer service here. The Cleveland location has a similar vehicle that I have been looking at that has 2000 miles on it, but in the end, it just really puts a bad taste in your mouth with situations like this I even called my cousins location to see if they had this one Particular vehicle and he told me to come on up they were willing to do whatever they needed to do to get the car deals done but at the same time it’s just one particular vehicle that I’ve had my eyes on for three weeks that I cannot get closed….(purchased) And it makes no sense since when the dealerships stop taking cash deals? Since when did employees and managers not be held accountable for calling customers back? Making situations right? Speaking to an actual manager on the phone with it documented and them telling you that they’re going to make the situation right and look out for you and to give them 24 hours only to ghost you never call you back and tell the girl at the front desk every time you call that they are at lunch? I’m a firm believer in life. What is right is right and what is wrong is wrong and the dealership is absolutely wrong..
Again . Like I said before. Paying cash . Not financing . If you are going to respond to a review make sure you read it . We never offered a down payment. We were paying cash for the vehicles. If you are addressing the salesman I spoke with then he isn’t being honest . He talked to me about a Tahoe and took all my information down. I never gave anyone my careful information and I do not have a problem with financing . So you must be talking about another customer. you sir are not talking about the correct customer. Cash …… not financing ....
Read moreI’ll start by saying that I believe that God made other people to take care of my service. Josh, the current foreman at this dealership’s service dept is worth his weight in gold. He has my deepest gratitude for his frank, directness. I cannot speak for everyone else, but value Josh.
That said, a recent issue has me rethinking the service I let the dealership complete for me. I’ve nearly always been happy to pay $120 for an oil change, $150 with a tire rotation. I use my vehicle heavily: 1,000 miles plus a week. Sure, I could do it myself for $50 and save some money, but my time is valuable.
A recent oil change and diagnostic request revealed that I had about $10,000 in repairs needed to my 2018 Jeep Cherokee. It needed new engine mounts, front calipers/rotors/pads, one rear caliper/rotor/pads, new struts, new tie rods, new CVs, a transmission flush, brake bleed, coolant flush and alignment. Most of the repairs were critical, but I didn’t have $10,000 laying around, so I opted for DIY.
Are you ready for what it cost me? Just over $2K!!!!
Bear in mind, I had already spent $600 (I think) to replace brake pads on all four wheels, which squealed so loudly for the next month while I brought it in, again and again, that I was embarrassed to pickup passengers (I drive for Uber). Again, props to Josh. He had it figured out in 5 minutes.
My points are these. I can no longer trust this dealership to handle service, without watching them like a hawk and micro managing them. These people are in a position of power and most people wouldn’t have the DIY knowledge I have to take matters into their own hands. I cannot imagine, the probably great mechanics get anywhere near the $145 per hour proposed labor rate. I’m aware they are paid whatever the service book says times their hourly rate, but I’d be surprised if it’s more than $40 per hour. Not any of my business, but just thinking out loud. how the heck can there be an $8,000 difference in parts to total repair cost of $10,000? it took 4 VISITS to figure out why my brakes…with NEW PADS…were squealing a set of new brake pads runs you about $45-75 at auto parts stores and are easy to change…why did it cost $600? Am I remembering this correctly?? Was it $300?? Still waaaayyyyy high!!! I finally figured out why my brakes were squealing AFTER I requested to have a mechanic (Josh) ride with me. Why wasn’t this offered on the second visit, or better yet, caught before the job was listed complete in the first place? For what it’s worth, I changed both calipers, rotors and pads on my own, for the first time in my life and got it right on the first try…silent as the grave! :-) oil and filter cost is a little over $45, plus tax and labor, when billed out by service. Be aware of the “extras” added by default and at the very least, be aware of what an “oil change” consists of.
Oh, and if all of the above wasn’t enough, they call you after every visit to ask you to give them a great review… Adding that anything less than 10 across the board is a fail for them.
Just give me good service, don’t overcharge me, and shoot straight with me . I’ll recommend...
