WILL NEVER RETURN TO ZAXBYS! I placed a pick up order at 8:24pm and was told food would be ready in 9 minutes. I arrive at 8:35, get told to wait from a young female with long braids, I wait until 8:38 to finally get some help...from the same female after she finished all her other convos around her. She hands the food and says "I'll make your drinks" I ordered 1 Dr.Pepper and 1 root beer both for opposite kids who hate the other. She hands both drinks and I ask which is which...she goes "hahaha" shrug "I don't know, they'll figure it out, I thought I probably should've labeled them but didn't and figured they'll figure it out" At this point... Her and her coworker wearing the earring charms find this extremely hilarious. But this being MY PERSONAL order...I did not. So i told her "well haha that's funny bc its my order" She responds "well you'll figure it out" and keeps laughing with her coworker so I say "since its so funny I want to return my food and get a refund". They both chuckle again. And the girl with ear charms says "shes joking" and the girl with braids goes huh...shes says "her" meaning me must be joking. The customer. I say no.And had the nerve to give me a look that Im expecting the service I paid for. She calls over her extremely rude manager never apologized for her employees behavior and then once finally checking my order inside the bag. I see the wings supposed to be tongue torch have no sauce at all on them and her answer was "Because that's what happens when they sit" which is why the timeline was necessary bc they DIDN'T sit long at all. Again no apology, just the great feeling of being a BOTHER. How dare I, the customer, expect some decency, respect and appreciation for spending MY money at their establishment. I have never been so disrespected. I'm shocked they even have 3 stars bc its very clear the owner sets no expectation for their employees to follow by. Horrible service. Unprofessional employees...
Read moreIn the Gwinnett and metro Atlanta market, there are several Zaxby's locations as well as competitors. The Zaxby's located in Lilburn is closest to my home and neighborhood school. However, they are the only location that has a process for mobile orders that requires a photo ID. This process is annoying and an overall hindrance to what mobile ordering is supposed to achieve- expedited service. I consider the gold standard to be chick fil a or even other similar restaurants with mobile ordering/pick up options. While options to wait in a drive thru or go inside exist, the photo ID portion being required with either option does little to deter whatever issue caused this unique requirement to be implemented. Today, I placed a mobile order in my name, sent my 15 year old son in with my ID to pick up the order (as he's done a handful of times before as we know the requirement). The Zaxby's employee would not give him the order. He called me to get out the car to get it, I merely walked through the door and the employee gave him the order. She didn't verify my name, photo match my picture as I dont actually look like my ID, especially from the distance she saw me. She believed my son that I was his mom - the same person on the ID. When I asked about the process and why this particular store in the 15 mile radius is the only one with this practice. The employee responded it was because of certain individuals attempting to do fraud. In today's society, i understand fraud and scams abound but to penalize other customers with a process that actually doesn't alleviate the fraud is ridiculous. This was evidenced by the minimal effort to actually confirm I was who placed the order. We won't be back to the location and may take a break in general...
Read moreThree strikes and you're out!!! Strike one- A while ago my boyfriend and I came to this location about 15 minutes before close. I was craving a Zaxby's salad. They told us they didn't have anymore lettuce. Soooooo, you're telling me that you aren't going to be able to make salads all day tomorrow OR you just didn't want to open another bag??? Strike two- we had a friend in town from New York and we were looking for a quick lunch. There are no Zaxby's in New York, so we thought why not? We went into the store to make sure our order was right. The cashier was less then friendly. I asked what they put in the chicken salad because I had never had it. She said "I don't know. I don't eat it that stuff." I thought... ok... all you have on your menu is a few varieties of chicken and you don't know what's in it? Then we went to get our drinks and at least 4 of the sodas we wanted were empty. Strike three- today I took the kids to Bethesda park, after I got off work, to play for a while because the weather was so nice. It started getting late and I thought, eh, I know I won't want to cook when I get home. Zaxby's is close and I feel like a salad. My son and I both got salads and my step-daughter got a kids pack. I asked for no cucumbers on my salad my son and I both wanted ranch. We got NO packs of dressing and even though they didn't put cucumbers on my salad, they also left off those super tasty fried onions. There's another Zaxby's that's just a little bit further on sugarloaf but I will be going to that one from now on because I've never had a problem...
