This is one of our favorite mom and pop Chinese restaurants in Gilbert. Our favorite dish here is Jalapeño Chicken. We’ve been here at least 10 times and we get it every time we come. The jalapeño chicken is crispy, sweet, and spicy. We’ve tried quite a few other things on the menu as well. Most everything is good and very similar to what you get in most other restaurants. The jalapeño chicken is what keeps us coming back. It’s much better if you sit down and eat it at the restaurant, but it’s still delicious if you take it to go and eat it at home.
Some of my favorite items are: Jalapeño Chicken ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My guide on how I use the 5 star system: ⭐️ = Not good ⭐️⭐️ = Not terrible, but would not get again ⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Solid, but I’d try something else before this again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Really liked it! You should try this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Loved it! Must try I’ll make adjustments to my ratings after subsequent visits. If you see a .3 or .7 it means: .3 = Wasn’t as good the 2nd or last time I tried it .7 = This was better the 2nd or last...
Read moreThis place is great. The people who run it also own it and they are so nice, like so nice you want to return just to be nice back. We got the family meal for 32.99 for 3 to 5 people and it came with so much food we couldn't even eat 1/3 of it. (3 of us). It came with: Large bowl of egg drop soup. (very good) 4 spring rolls (excellent) 4 Crab Rangoons (good) (the people I was with liked it more than I did, they would say very good) Large white rice (it's rice) Large fried rice (very good)
And then you get 3 entrees. We got the general tsos chicken and orange chicken (both good) they had a little spice but not too much heat. I'm sensitive to it and it wasn't too much for me but it does have some spiciness. And they tell you that on the menu, and it's accurate. And then we got the roast pork lo mein and it was very good. I'm not a huge lo mein fan but I would get that again. While we were there people kept coming in for take-out, so people like it. I'll go back.
Not a ton of seating but most people are there just...
Read moreDecided to try this place on a whim as I was hungry for Chinese food. This was my first time here and my impression of the restaurant immediately was very good, it was very clean. It looks like maybe the owners kids are in high school and both of them had their noses buried in laptops in the lobby doing schoolwork and as soon as I open the door both of them put their masks on which didn’t bother me either way. I ordered the Mongolian beef lunch special and a soda so the total was around 11 bucks which isn’t too bad… I couldn’t finish my entire meal. The Mongolian beef was good, it was a little on the spicy side which is fine by me… The only complaint I would have is that the owner was speaking Chinese loudly on the phone the entire time I was trying to eat…so it was a little distracting to hear someone speaking very loudly on the phone while you’re trying to relax and enjoy your lunch on your break. Definitely recommend and definitely...
