Rosati’s Pizza — Restaurant in Gilbert

I called the restaurant because the information on the Website DID NOT INCLUDE DEEP DISH PIZZA!!!!! I called and spoke with that " supposed to be Manager Jeff, who I specifically asked about the Different Italian Meats offered on the DEEP DISH CHICAGO STYLE PIZZA, because the WEBSITE DID NOT LIST THE DEEP DISH CHICAGO STYLE PIZZA OF ANY SIZE !!!!! Jeff informed me that the Website was Created by a 3Rd Party and that "They were NOT AWARE of What was LISTED as THE INGREDIENTS FOR THE Chicago Style DEEP DISH DISH PIZZA!!!!! I advised Jeff that there was NO LISTING ON THE WEBSITE of ANY Chicago Style DEEP DISH PIZZA and that I wanted to Order a DEEP DISH CHICAGO STYLE DEEP DISH PIZZA, like the ones made at GIORDANO'S PIZZA FROM CHICAGO!!!!! Jeff proceeded to inform ME that Rosati's Pizza was WAAAAAY better than Giordano's Pizza from Chicago. I advised him that I went Online to Order a Chicago Style DEEP DISH PIZZA and I was NOT ABLE TO FIND THIS SPECIFIC STYLE PIZZA, and he told ME that DUE TO A THIRD PARTY ADVERTISING COMPANY, they were NOT AWARE OF WHAT WAS ON THE WEBSITE!!!!! I advised him that I was from Chicago and ONLY wanted to Order a CHICAGO STYLE DEEP DISH PIZZA with Specific Italian Ingredients that I WAS ACCUSTOMED TO IN CHICAGO!!!! Jeff proceeded to INFORM ME that ROSATI'S WAS WAAAAAY BETTER THAN GIORDANO'S, EVEN THOUGH HE COULDN'T ADD SALAMI OR ANY OTHER ITALIAN INGREDIENT TO THIS PIZZA!!!!! I asked for EXTRA ITALIAN BEEF and Pepperoni and Onions to my Chicago Style DEEP DISH PIZZA, he advised me that Rosati's was WAAAAAY BETTER THAN GIORDANO'S!!!!!!! HE WAS WRONG!!!! I Added Onion's to my order 5 Minutes OR LESS AFTER I PLACED MY ORDER and THEY DECIDED to place ALL the ONIONS on Top of the Pizza and I CAN ACTUALLY COUNT THE NUMBER OF PEPPERONI AND SAUSAGE on EACH SLICE OF PIZZA!!!!! This Pizza is Large BUT FOR ME , IT WAS MISSING SAUSAGES AND PEPPERONI AS I REQUESTED EXTRA OF AND I KNOW CHICAGO STYLE DEEP DISH PIZZA AND THUS WAS ONLY PAN PIZZA, at the MOST AND IT WAS MISSING THE SAUSAGE AND THE PEPPERONI!!!!!!! Jeff obviously is Biased and DOESN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT CHICAGO STYLE DEEP IS!!!!! I would REALLY LIKE TO RETURN THE PIZZA AND RECEIVE A FULL REFUND BECAUSE I KNOW WHAT CHICAGO STYLE DEEP DISH PIZZA IS and this is...

We've been to multiple Rosati's locations accross the USA and this one happens to be closest to our house. But we won't be returning for a few reasons. After giving this location multiple chances here's my honest opinion.

The pizza is usually really good from Rosatis, but I'd describe it differently here. It's always eaither well done or over cooked, sometimes both😒. [Last night for instance our pizza was well done on the crust but the dough in the middle of the pizza wasn't cooked all the way].

Our experience here has never been a positive one, we've been to this location multiple times and they're not what I'd describe as "Rosatis Pizza". Customer service, cleanliness and products don't compare to other locations.

Online and phone orders they give you an estimated wait time, I've tried both and even week nights they're always atleast 10 minutes after the expected time, last night I waited 30 minutes past. Thats over an hour and a half for a pizza. Delivery was late as well when we tried that in the past but atleast you're not stuck waiting in the mini loby area of this restaurant.

Lets talk cleaning...ok so with covid I'm sure things are different. For instance the guy at the phone/computer/register doesn't wear his mask around his face but its on his chin. The rest of the staff seemed to have masks on [mostly] correctly. I saw one person in gloves but everyone else just using bare hands to prepare the food. One of my biggest problems is the fact that I watched as the guy went from answering the phone/computer/register to preparing pizza without washing his hands🤢 he then bent down to get something from the fridge and had his hands all over the floor, before standing back up and putting handfulls of topings onto someone's pizza🤮.

The location isn't a typical Rosatis Pizza location with multiple things, they don't have as good pizza, customer service and they dont have a dining room. After attempting this location multiple times having the same problems each time, we won't be returning. Bummed cause other locations have good pizza and a very different experience. THINK...

**update 7/29/2021 Well someone was able to turn this place around. Back to 5 stars at least for now. **

*update 6/20/2018 Tried giving them a couple more chances and they failed. This place is a disaster. If you love Rosati's, there are other locations in the East Valley that are independent and not owned by this franchisee. Go elsewhere. Even if it meant eating crumbled bread with ketchup, it would be a better experience than giving your business to this company. This location is a giant mess. We've been frequenting this place for over a year and out of the dozen or so times we've given them our business, only once have they ever met our expectations or had any sense of consistency. Some issues we've had: never being on time within their suggested window and instead usually 15-20 minutes late, wrong toppings, entire chunks of onion, completely soggy and drenched crust, and completely burnt crust. Just this past visit someone forgot to put tomato sauce on the pizza and instead incidentally added the tomato sauce once the pizza was already cooked and ready as if we wouldn't have noticed.
