Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Gilbert

Went on a Saturday night at 8:30 and the store closes at 9. Felt this was very reasonable for ordering a sub that takes 10 minutes and getting it to go. The guy who was clearly the manager on duty must have disagreed. He was visibly annoyed the entire time, kept oddly stressing they had no bacon which we never even ordered, and was just rude. They put the wrong bread top on one of the sandwiches which we didn’t notice - they’re the ones who figured it out and insisted on unwrapping everything, picking things off the bread and swapping them after we repeatedly assured them we didn’t care at all and to please just leave it rather than retouching all of our toppings. But somehow not even noticing the mismatch, being fine with the mismatch and even asking them three times to just leave the mismatch - made the two male employees more annoyed and rude? Thank you, Adam! Not only is the food amazing here, the service is top notch. Just to share a little story, I mistakenly ordered the wrong sandwich which was completely my fault, but Adam went above and beyond as to offer to remake my entire order to what I originally wanted. I politely declined and just asked if the would charge me for the bacon on the side, but with no hesitation he grabbed a few pieces along with the ranch to make my sandwich whole. I genuinely appreciate that Adam wanted to make it right for me even though it was my mistake. So thank you again so much! I also will say that I come in here every so often because I work close by and every single time he has such a positive attitude and is such a team player!!!!

Jersey Mike's is always a fresh favorite when I need a quick wholesome meal. Was very impressed when I walked in this location and the young man cleaning in the front greeted me with a personal "Welcome in. Are you having a good day so far?". It was sincere and made me feel more special than the standard 'HI, how are you?' that many similar places give a you walk in. The staff behind the counter were equally cordial, and took care to make sure they made my sandwich exactly like I desired. I would go out of my way to visit this location again just because the exceptional treatment given. Of course the food was amazing as well, and I treat myself to soda when I go there; as they have the best Root Beer...
