Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Gilbert

So rude . . My husband attends this Dutch on a daily , to the point he talks football with the workers and they remember him every time . We went to this location this morning August 17 2017 and ordered 4 drinks , and 1 birthday drink for our daughters 7 birthday , as this is a ritual for our kids that they look forward too. The lady taking orders outside said “they couldn’t give her the bday drink unless we could provide id , we showed her birth certificate showing her bday is 8/18, but I work and the children go to their other parents house tomorrow so we wanted to celebrate today . She repeated herself she couldn’t do the drink and said we could finish our order at the window . As we pull up to the window , the “team lead” moved the guy at the counter and told my husband and I the same thing , even after explaining the situation , and told us I even confirmed with my manager . We asked to see the manager and he stated “why ? For what im the team lead “ to which my husband said well I come here every day you guys see me. He said “oh yeah I know I remember you but like I said it has to be the day of.” Never once has any Dutch asked for id on our child but that’s okay we did it , the problem is they were completely not understanding and rude . So we went to another dutch bro to get the rest of our coffee and asked them how that situation is handled and the birthday drinks with id and they agreed that if within 1 day they will give it and they don’t even ask for id.

If you have an allergy, DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. My roommates and come to this Dutch every month on the 1st to get their sticker. It's a fun Tradition for all of us. Normally we go in the early afternoon but yesterday we went at about 10 PM. I have an allergy to whole milk and my roommate has an allergy to every milk besides almond we ordered our drinks with the correct milk and when our drinks were handed to us we heard them ask someone is this the almond and she said "it's my best guess" and proceeded to giggle. This morning after drinking my coffee that I saved from last night I began to have terrible stomach cramps. I soon realized that the coffee I drink was not made with the correct milk. I have been in pain all day because of this mistake. I have never had trouble with Dutch Bros but after this experience I am wondering if they can be trusted to deal with an allergy. Use caution when visiting this location in the later evening.

It was also very obvious to me that the employees were not taking our time seriously. When we got in line there were about three cars ahead of us the line took as long as it would if it was wrapped around the building. After we ordered the car behind us even started flashing their lights because they were tired of waiting. I felt bad for the girl who was taking our order. She had to ask repeatedly for them to start making the drinks and to grab a cookie for us everyone seemed preoccupied and...

I was up really late last night I couldn’t fall asleep thanks to the virus I caught. At 2am I decided to take 20mg of melatonin and passed out faster than a sloth. I woke up at 6am and went to work and found myself dead tired I couldn’t focus and I was having a hard time staying awake as I found my eyes closing without opening I couldn’t see I was almost sleepwalking and my eyes made me look high I was about to lose my job all I had to do was stay alive til noon. Once noon hit I wandered to my car trying to remember who I was and where I was going. I looked at my Dutch bros lanyard which lead me to a Dutch bros half a mile away... your Dutch bros. Once I was here I was welcomed with your fantastic family I ordered a large 911 with vanilla and caramel extra sweet light iced and was handed the most powerful drink. The caffeine flowed into my bloodstream in seconds. The rush of the day came to me and I woke up. I was alive! I was able to see the colorful Dutch, smell the delicious coffee, hear the smooth voice of staff talking to me asking about the day I forgot I was living, I could feel the cold drink in my hand as I sipped again fastening the extra sweet liquid in between my lips.
