Jester's Billiards — Restaurant in Gilbert

I will say that the staff there was fairly friendly and it was a lot bigger than I expected. The drinks were well made, and even though it was a busy night, we got to a pool table fairly quickly. I would say that I think there needs to be more advertising that there is a smoking lounge because when we walked in there, I knew I smelt smoke and we were asked if we’d like smoking or non-smoking but truly I thought that was a joke. I can’t say that I’ve been to a place other, than a casino, that allowed smoking inside and I was thinking maybe the smoke from people smoking outside the door was coming in and that’s why he made the joke. I will say when we were over by the dartboard, we didn’t really smell it all that much however, given the fact that I have asthma and an allergy to cigarette smoke, it was unfortunate when I had to go up to pay for drinks or get pool balls that it was literally right next to the smoker section. Had it not been my husband‘s birthday and seeing him enjoy himself I probably would have suggested for us to leave. Truthfully though everything else was perfectly fine is why I don’t want to give this place a super bad rating. Maybe my fault for not looking deep enough into the reviews or on the website but when you’re looking for a pool hall, I don’t think most people would deep dive to learn more about it before attending. Keep in mind, this is a pool hall. It isn't an upscale place, and it's pretty divey. I'm not a pro pool or darts player, so I can't speak to the quality of the tables, but I love this bar! There are several leagues who play are, so I assume quality is good?

What impresses me most are two things: One, the beer selection here is ridiculous. Honestly, it rivals a lot of tap houses! TONS of very hard to find beers, plus a full bar. Cheers! Also, their service is actually really friendly and efficient. We had no idea what we were doing with the hourly versus flat rate table fees, and it turns out we made the wrong choice. When we went to check out, the server caught it and changed it for us. What cost $18 was going to be well over $40! Thank you, angel at the register.

As far as food, they have a unique setup. Jesters is teamed up with Rino D's next door, so when you order pizza and wings, they're coming from there (and yummy!). They're open until 2am every night, and have great...

We have become regulars, this place is really great. They have good music playing, great cocktail prices and of course more than 40 pool tables to choose from. I appreciate great hospitality because it makes a business stand out ,that being said, the last time my family and I were there we were not greeted with a friendly inviting manner. The bartender/cashier named Deon was unwelcoming, dismissive, uninviting, and expressing herself negatively towards us. She told us we had to leave before 6pm because of a league that would be arriving, but when we asked questions regarding to switch tables to give the league players their space she was rude as well. Overall that is a great place there are other employees that have been very attentive and kind to us. They are awesome. That being said don't let other people change how good you are feeling.
