This hair salon was formerly located on East Guadalupe Road & Recker Road, just West, for over 20 years, & used to be named Guy & Gal Cuts Salon. And if you were a customer there, fear not, as Sone is still the proprietor. Also, her niece, Amber, still operates there as well. So really, the only thing that has changed is their location. Now I, personally, am just a little disappointed. The only reason being is that their original location, which I, as well as my children, had been getting our hair cut at since they first opened their doors way back in the late '90s, back when my kids were still at home, was located literally within walking distance from my house (not that I ever did walk there. This is, after all, the "Valley of the Sun"....the operative word being SUN). That being said, this new location, which is still in Gilbert, by the way, is much more centrally located. So, for most folks, I'm sure it's probably more convenient. However, since Sone & Amber have become more like friends, as opposed to someone who just cuts my hair, and the fact that I've NEVER had even one issue with any service that I have ever received there, I most certainly WILL drive the extra 7 - 8 minutes, obviously not a huge distance by any means, to continue to have my hair cut at this friendly, excellent, salon, and I will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. In conclusion, and as I mentioned in my initial post of their original location, the fact that I would recommend this salon to any of my friends or family members, has not...

I HAVE AUDIO RECORDINGS AND PROOF OF THE DISHONEST ACCUSATIONS SHOWN HERE BY DAVID, AND BREACH OF VERBAL CONTRACT. If there was an option for 0 stars I would pick it. MY APPEARANCE WAS RUINED. CORIN is a negligent manager who does not care for the salon clients. David the owner is supposed to return my call, and instead has decided to ignore this issue. Im a human being, and as a woman and expecting mother i feel that these group of people hace no decency. Im a stylist and if it was me who ruined someones appearance i would go out of my way 100% to make sure this person is taken care of. I went in for an eyebrow wax, then 2 days later for a fix and I literally have no eyebrows left, not to mention a nasty rash. I scheduled my daughter specifically for an undercut with a design. We had been here before with mandy and had an amazing experience. Came back today and was told mandy isn't here and the lady who she is now with doesnt do designs. I got a call earlier in the day to say mandy was sick, but never that she was the ONLY one who could do what I asked for. They dyed her hair, not how I asked, and then left her with wet hair and moved onto another client without saying a word. So I had to argue to even have it dried to just see the color and how it turned out as being wet, it all looked black. Before today, I would have recommended this place over a thousand times. After today, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Not to mention the lady who was scheduled with my CHILD clearly doesn't...
