McDonald's — Restaurant in Gilbert

They are HORIBLE!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! one time when me my mom and my sister went to this McDonald's, and btw my mom is the MANAGER of the one on higley/baseline go there it's better, anyways back to my story, so my sister got a egg sandwich thing and I got chicken nuggets my mom got a cheeseburger. Once we got to our house, my mom was going to take the sausage off my sister's sandwich cuz she only eats the eggs and cheese, and the egg was rotten. It was like They served us food that had been in a cabinet for 6 months. My chicken nuggets were cold. Like not even cooked, and my mom's cheeseburger was more of a hard meat burger with ketchup that we never even asked for. Disgusting. And oh guess what... there's more. When she called the manager to tell them about the rotten egg and her hard meat and my uncooked chicken nuggets, the manager was a total rude jerk and when we returned the food later they didn't give us a replacement or anything and they didn't give my mom her money back. retards and jerks. Idk what you call that I thing a jerktard. You might think that after typing this loooong thing about how this McDonald's freaking sucks and it should be closed down for health violation already that I should be done with this, but no, they have made more mistakes. So many that we would rather drive the 15 minutes or so to my mom's work than to even get a soda there. Second mistake, one time when they almost got it right, almost, they forgot my mom's iced coffee. So I went in WITH the receipt, WITH it, I said "you never got my mom's iced coffee" and they were like ummm yes we did. I said no you didn't then they said well you don't have a receipt so you can't get one even if we didn't give it to her. I said "yes I do! It's right here." That mother beeper looked at me and said fine but next time don't act like it's our fault. And they made the coffee. They made a mistake in a mistake. The coffee was the wrong size. Ahe ordered a bigger size than they gave her. when my sister and my mom were at Wal-Mart , me and my dad went there. I got a soda and ice cream, I asked for ice cream in a cup with no chocolate. I didn't want the cone because I had 3 lose teeth at the time, now, 2/3 of those teeth are out, but at the time I couldn't eat the cone. Do you know what they did. They gave it to me in a cone. My dad told the to redo it and put it in a cup! That's one mistake and about the soda. Like I said they suck. Before you finish reading this go rate this place 1 star . at first I got coca cola but it had no flavour it was LITTERALLY just water, but how would I know these stupid people don't put an out of order sign, so then I got the fanta orange instead and it wasn't the orange it was supposed to be. More greenish orange like if you mix the blue Powerade with orange fanta, that's what color it was. So I was like ummm... not having that then... And then I got the sprite. . It didn't taste like sprite. It tasted disgusting like I took one sip of it and I dumped it down the drain. didn't get any other soda I just ate my new ice cream in a cup. Some more problems. When me and my dad first walked in there was an ice cream cone on top of the ice cream machine. Inside the cone was a bunch of ice cream they was just left there. The ice cream was just melting and nobody cared. It was LITTERALLY running down the sides of the machine. They never actually cleaned it up until it was lile 5 minutes until we were going to leave. And another one, there was only one person taking the orders, everybody else was screwing around near the fry grill thing, playing on their phones and chatting with each other. Every time we went there they screwed up. please report this place, rate it one star and don't go there. This was longer but I had to take out a lot of stuff bc it was longer than it was...

**6/2017 Update Downgraded from a 4 to a 2 star because we really aren't welcome here anymore either. Went in and was told we had just 30 minutes to be in the restaurant and then had to leave. If I didn't want my frappe and it wasn't so close to closing, we would have left. Just got it and ate outside. We won't be returning to any of Ernie McDonald's so you can stop watching for us on your cameras! CHEAPER & FRIENDLIER elswhere so you did us a HUGE favor!!! This has been my favorite go to McDonald's for some time in the evenings. The decor is nice, it's always clean inside, the bathrooms are clean and the staff has always been very nice to us there. We have been customers here for a very long time, coming more often now that we have the McDonald's app. The night manager, I can't recall nor pronoubce her name, is a very hard working woman. She does her best to keep that restaurant running like clock work, the drive through rolling as well as the inside going. My hats off to her and her crew. Anyway, this location is one of many owned by the same person who owns the Baseline & Gilbert location. The higher management apparently is the same as well because we were banned from the Gilbert/Baseline location about two weeks prior to the incident I will write about. We went in two weeks ago and ordered two fish sandwiches, two drinks and two cones. We were then going to order to frappes after we ate that as Monday the McDonald's app has a frappe speacial. Anyway, we had been there approx. 40 minutes when the manager came up to pur table and says, "a man just called me, he says you have to leave by 8:30. I don't know why, I don't know what's going on but I have to ask you to leave." There we were, in a different location then the one we were "banned" from (go read why in my review) and now we are being thrown out here! Thankfully, this manager allowed us to order the other items we had planned to order. We gathered our uneaten food and left. Apparently the location at Baseline and Gilbert can watch the Guadalupe and Val Vista location remotely via the cameras. How creepy is that? To find out that you are being watched and hunted down by another location just so they can toss you out again?! I'm not going to be angry at this particular manager or location, they have never treated us badly. It's the bad seed/s that run the other store and are allowed to get away with chasing off regular customers. They are now going to hurt the business at Val Vista and Guadalupe because we just won't go there anymore. It was embarrassing and humiliating. This location is outrageous! I ordered at this location via app on 3/20/24 around 11pm. I went here because it was the only McDonald’s relatively close to me that was wasn’t closed and WAS serving ice cream. When I got there I sat at the speaker for a good 5 minutes before being acknowledged, the man on the headset sounded far away and I could not hear him especially with how he was mumbling. I don’t care much on that but definitely made it way more difficult. He informed me that they were out of ice cream and tried offering other alternatives. I declined and asked for a refund for the ice cream and that I still wanted the food aspect of my order. Takes him three more times of asking me if I wanted something else and long periods of silence. Finally I ask him if he can refund the whole thing that way I could be refunded but also reorder the non ice cream aspects of my order. After about 15-20 minutes of just sitting at the speaker I get to pull up to the next window. I DID NOT receive my receipt nor did I receive my refund for the other food. I went into this McDonald’s a couple days later after I noticed both charges went through and the one I placed through the app was not being refunded. They told me they could not do anything and I’d have to contact support as it’s through their app. Ok cool, I’ve contacted McDonald’s over 3 times now. They told me that this location CAN REFUND ME. All they do let the restaurant know what happened and said they’d contact me. That has yet to happen. I try calling this location and they won’t pick up no matter what. This place is still far for me and I don’t have all the time to run back and forth between them and contacting support over money that is MINE. REFUND ME NOW. THIS IS UNPROFESSIONAL, UNREASONABLE, RIDICULOUS, AND PATHETIC. They can’t even refund a $17 order. Do better and at least refund money that isn’t yours. That or give me all the food I paid for.
