Our first time we just got food to-go to try it out; I got a roll, my sweetheart got curry. When we went to pick up the food, the place was so quaint, we felt bad just getting to-go. When we got home and had the food (so good!!) we realized we had to dine in next time.

Our second time here, we ate inside with a friend. We definitely could have spent about $20 each, but we enjoyed trying different items and it was closer to $30 each. We each left very full with how much food it was though, and everything was just so delicious! Their own Sushi San roll was my favorite, and I can't wait to go back!

We ordered the tempura combo to share, miso soup, maki combo to share (so big!!). Friend ordered teriyaki chicken dish, and it was served in a little pan still cooking; which was fun! Sweetheart and I both ordered rolls. I forget what his was called, but it was very fun and tasted awesome. Mine, the sushi San roll, was so different and delicious. The fish tasted fresh, the cuts were good, and the rice was proper sushi rice.

The restaurant was clean, the servers and staff were all incredibly polite and patient with us (I was incredibly indecisive, and the waitress didn't rush me once). The decor was just honestly fun to look at, and the seating was cozy.

Absolutely no complaints from me, my sweetheart, or our friend. This...

First of all let me make one thing clear. The food here is EXCELLENT. The cuts of fish are perfect and professionally plated.

Now, the reason I'm giving the place one star. The employees who served my brothers and I, are the utmost impolite people I've ever encountered. The female employee, who's name I didn't quite catch, pretty much insulted me.

The situation went like this. My brothers and I stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted by a fast paced but uninviting gentleman. Well, what happened next should have been my cue to leave. However, I stayed since I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt. My mistake. The waiter gave us short and uninformative explanations. After that he left and told us "raise your hand when you're ready to order." So after deciding for awhile what to order, I raised my hand up trying to get his attention, or at least someone who's serving. By that time, the waitress near us commented "what does he think this is? School?". I really wanted to go full blast and tell her off but there were kids around so I didn't want to make a scene.

This establishment has incredible chefs, but if it wants to keep its customers then it needs to find better waiters/waitresses.

I whole heartedly wish the owners good luck, and am sorry that my brothers and I won't be...

!!!!BAD SERVICE ALERT!!!!

It was our first time trying this place out and it's unfortunate it didn't work out because we live right next to it. From the very first interaction we had with our server taking us to the table until we left that place it was just horrible. When he sat us he doesn't hand us a menu he slammed them down on the table that it startled me. He takes drinks orders, then food orders and everything was so short, answered short, questions were short just an overall bad tone - obviously he was having a rough day. I watched him put away our menus and he throws them back where they are stored and he saw me looking and he still began to slam things around. Then the booth next to us left so he started to clean the table off so he was slamming plates and cups into the bin. He did it so loudly that i had to pause the conversation i was having with my husband - it so aggressive. I was SO UNCOMFORTABLE! I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcomed in a restaurant before. We were ready to leave as soon as we were done eating.

Food was good, not great and it took 30-35 minutes to get our food. We normally go to Orient Sushi but decided to try this spot out, totally regretted it. Sucks we tried a new spot for some mediocre sushi. Lesson learned,...

Sushi San is hands down one of the best family-owned restaurants we’ve ever been to! Every time we come, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the care and quality in every bite. One standout dish we keep coming back for is the teriyaki beef—perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with rich, savory flavor. It’s easily one of the best we’ve had! Pair it with their fresh sushi or a warm bowl of miso soup, and you have a meal that never disappoints. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, plus they are always playing animal planet and SpongeBob which I really appreciate. If you’re looking for incredible sushi and outstanding service, Sushi San is the place to go!

Superior experience very close to five star. The ambiance is beautiful and welcoming, with aquatic themes on the large televisions and pleasant Japanese soft music. Decoration is tasteful. Service was fair, with no water but prompt and unobtrusive attention. $22 small Sashimi tasted great, rather lean cuts of fish. Presentation was good, but unremarkable. Octopus is an atypical addition, and had a very pleasant taste. Wasabi cost $3 extra. Red bean mochi had five star ornamentation (2 pieces for $3.75 is about fair) and complimentary watermelon was gracious. Overall, a sushi restaurant I can wholeheartedly recommend, but not a contender for best in the valley.
