9/11/2022 Add - I finally got here during open hours. I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed. It’s built up online and from reviewers like it’s this fun cavity inducing place. There is some normal average beers on tap, and a cooler full of, yes, a great selection on cans. The thing it was mostly though was sours, I was looking for a strawberry wheat beer, or blueberry wheat, or any kind of fruit infused beer instead of just sours. Also, to have no beers on tap, and the ones you do have be basic beer you can get anywhere was disappointing. I also assumed it was going to be a dessert place as well. Like there is a alcohol slushie machine, so why don’t you offer a slushie floats. Or you could take certain beers and offer a kind of root beer floats with real beer, or even mix it and offer a creamy smoothie beer. Then top them with cookies or candy’s that match the flavors.

Read moreLet me tell you I've had some mixed reviews of the Sugar bar. First the negative: This tap room was extremely small which made it uncomfortable for people sitting against the wall with a long table right in the middle with very little walking room. They did not have much of a menu for a bite to eat or snacks. On the positive side: the visual aspect of the bar look like a candy malt shop, but the clientele that they had you would find at any sports bar. They had several TVs for entertainment. And what really impressed me was their variety of beers that they had, also there unique drink items that came with candy. If you're looking for a place to have a drink and mingle, and maybe even have a pre-party for the main party in this is a good...
