Having recently moved from the east coast, I have been trying to find great, locally-owned places to eat in a land of franchises and chains. Unfortunately, Henry’s will not be one of them. We tried eating there at around 3:30 PM. There were people in line to be seated and a few picking up their orders. I don’t know if that was busy for them. While standing in line, I was absolutely shocked at how rude the older woman with the bleached blonde hair who was behind the bar was speaking to the senior customer in the front of the line. The old woman was trying to order something with what seemed like a voucher. The customer was asking about the dish she was about to order and the worker rudely said “I’m really busy, so this is going to have be fast.” The older woman looked embarrassed and tried to order a second dish, and was yelled at again and told she could only get one per day. Even if this was the policy, the disrespect and demeaning behavior was completely unnecessary. We turned around and left before being seated. I’ve worked hospitality my whole career and I know that even if you’re understaffed, busy, or not feeling well, you NEVER take it out on the customer. I don’t care if that worker was the only one running the floor that day (she wasn’t, as the people who came in behind us were seated before us by another woman, but we were fine waiting) you treat every customer with patience and respect, and if service is slow, you just apologize to the next customer. I will never give Henry’s my business as long as they are comfortable having a host/bartender/whatever she was who is so blatantly rude to someone who is old enough to be my grandmother. I also will encourage my staff, friends, and coworkers to...
Read moreHad sue as our waitress very bad service. Went after lunch rush so place was not busy. One group only got drinks no food. Had to wait 40 minutes for 3 meals. Had to go request or meals due to waiting on food FOR 40 minutes. Got two cheese burgers meals and no joke both meals had 16 french fries on each plate. We counted them asked SUE what was going on with being served only 16 FRENCH FRIES "was told they weigh each portion" looked at us as if we where asking for something other then what we where paying for. How crazy is it that did not order from kiddie menu. Then the SUE asked if we needed more ketchup. What kind of response is that?? Are you kidding me have gone to eat there a few times a month thru the past few years. NEVER had such a bad experience. If i could have rated it a 0 stars i would if she was having such a bad day go home women. We went there to relax and eat with family. Not to have bad service bad and cold food. There was our table (3 ladies) 1 other table ( that table only ordered drinks) so ok have a bad day SUE but go home to act like that dont take it out on...
Read moreOne star review for a friend of mine who came here a few months back. She is an elderly woman with asthma who had a bad coughing spell while dining in. (No, she was not sick, did not have covid). The actions of the waitress were inexcusable! She literally embarrassed the poor woman by hollering at her several times to stop coughing! She made a big scene and humiliated her in front of a room full of people! My friend did nothing about the incident but left shortly there after not eating the majority of her meal. I certainly hope that this is looked into because if this had happened to me, I would have had serious a talk with the manager about this. THERE IS NO EXUSE TO HOLLER AT CUSTOMERS! I don't know the woman's name that did this, but she is described as late 40's with short brown hair. We used to love Henry's, but until this gets resolved, our dear friend as well as ourselves will no longer be dining here. This waitress needs to apologize...
