I ordered the Fajita Marinas. It was requested (in Spanish so no excuse for language barrier) that I don't like my food overcooked. Of course, it came out vegetables cooked to a mush. No flavor. Adding to that, they first bring out the searing plate with the seafood. We sat there and watched it scorched the meat as we are waiting for the sides of rice and beans and salad. A minute or two later that comes out and the tortillas. Although we had told them at the point of ordering we needed two plates (we were splitting order) we had to again tell them extra plate. Additional wait time as food continues to decay. Portion was also meager for the price. No sour cream or guac was served with it. Is that their way or did they just forget that. Also tried their Horchata. Way to sweet. I have no desire to go back.When people give good reviews for places like this, I often wonder what they are used to eating. My husband ordered nachos and got Literally 12 chips with meat & veggies stacked on top, the chips were soggy and he couldn't even pick the chips up without them falling apart or the toppings falling off definitely NOT $12 nachos! I ordered my food and asked for my burritos to be topped in cheese sauce and they came out without any cheese at all!! I ordered my son's meal and requested Cheese sauce on too and it also came without any cheese!! We paid for the extra cheese and still didn't get it and when we asked for a bowl of cheese dip since we didn't get the cheese topping we asked for we were charged for EXTRA cheese!! It was great as always! However; I must say we had the best, most kind server ever!! And I am so upset with myself because I do not remember her name! I have never ever had a server anywhere that I can remember that was that sweet. She was very attentive but not in an overbearing way. The restaurant has always been a very clean and nicely decorated place. I think they have done some renovating with new tables and chairs as it seems even nicer. My mother in law couldn't stop talking about how much she loved the beautiful upholstered chairs. I love their recently upgraded outdoor patio also!
