China King Buffet — Restaurant in Glasgow

Be careful using your debit card here. They 'batched/claimed' their money..but their policy must mean for a 'pending charge hold' means the 'hold' remains in place for as long as, well idk yet, I’ve been holding this pre Authorization for 9 days now. Which means I’m temporarily charged double my purchase amount. The restaurant has claimed the money promised to them in the initial transaction(charge was preauthorized Sunday, took their money Monday and as of Monday the following week I still have an additional Preauthorization charge) however, they are leaving the 'pending charge hold' in place for a set time (thus far a week and a day😡) The transaction has been taken out (paid)and a pre authorization has been pending on my card for a week yesterday! The restaurant is basically holding the amount of the initial transaction hostage-as it does not return to the my available balance until they decide to drop it. Authorization holds are intended to be used by sellers only as a means to defend against abuse until card transactions are submitted for processing. I heard that if places misuse that, they could be liable for fees by Visa or Mastercard. Idk how that’s legal, but it sure isn’t ethical! Also the food was nasty! Go to the one by...

This may be 1 of the best China Buffet's I've ever been to! I tried sushi & didn't really care for it but since I only just started eating it, I don't know how it was supposed to taste & can't begin to tell you what was in it. The General Tso's chicken had a good flavor but wasn't crunchy enough for me. My daughter was hoping for an ice cream machine but they only had community scoop ice cream so she didn't get any. The crab Rangoon was delicious as well as the fried rice, vegetable roll, pork egg roll, green beans, corn nuggets, sugar biscuit, garlic bread, dinner roll, chocolate pudding, bananas with strawberry jell, chicken on a stick, & so much more! I got full before I could try the crab meat salad. They were constantly putting out fresh food & the wait staff was super nice...speaking perfect English as well as conversing among themselves in their native language. I'll definitely be back to try more things & eat more of...

(Day one review). First time my teeth cried. Felt so bad for owner/employees. You know that feeling you get when someone does something so embarrassing you also feel embarrassed? That's how I felt with in 7 min of being there and trying to eat the food. I paid my bill in full with out saying anything negative and left after being there for no more than 10 minutes...... . (Day 2 review). I'm back!!! I'm home now. Have been sitting on the toilet for a good portion of the day.. Im not sure if it's food poisoning. I'm very sure the reason I have sat on the toilet 11 times now, is from the food I did try to eat. My hole day is wasted because of the amount of trips I have had to "go"... The cramps are unbearable... Please don't play Russian roulette with your guts.. Just find somewhere...
