Best Donuts — Restaurant in Glasgow

I can't let myself visit too often because every donut that I've ever had from Best Donuts has been perfect. The glazed yeast rings are so light and fluffy that they virtually melt from your gaze. The cake donuts have this amazing little crispy outer layer with a moist interior. The apple fritters, kolaches, long johns, boston cremes all need something special said as well. Repeat ad infinitum.

I shamelessly use them as a reward for my family and coworkers and for random acts of kindness. Surprise just about anyone with that dozen box and you are sure to witness pure stupefaction.

The location of the store in the shopping center gives easy access for a quick detour with credence that parking is no issue. Newcomers to town and inexperienced drivers need heed of a potentially tricky exit; If left turns into main thoroughfares are your weakness, you may have issues using the road next to BK. Skip across the lot and use the traffic light controlled intersection instead or go up the hill and around to Main St.

The service has never disappointed. The lady behind the counter is prompt with friendly greetings and quick action. Chances are, if you're waiting, you're not waiting on her but someone else in line or technology.

Prices are rated between a good and great value when considering the competition as of this review. Ensure you bring cash for small transactions due to minimums (card processing fees, amiright?)

My favorite is the sour cream donut warmed up in the mic for a few seconds with a glass of milk. No, wait. It's an apple fritter with black coffee. Or maybe some donut holes. I think I might have to go have a cheat day after...

Im new to this town just moved here and felt like having some donuts this morning so I decided to give them a call to place an order and have my husband pick it up on his way home from work this morning because he works nights. And as I was ordering The lady says out of no where "you need to come if you want donut you no pick up your order last time" Like excuse me?!?!?! Last time?! I have never even been to this place in my life let alone call them!!! So I tell her this and I let her know my husband will be coming in to get it. So she says fine and takes my order. THEN she calls me back 5 minutes later and say if my husband doesnt get there when i said she will be selling my donuts that I can forget about them. And she said she checked the phone and said my number has called them before and she was being SO RUDE. Let me start off by saying their doughnuts are the best in town, but customer service is terrible. We pre-ordered and paid for 8 dozen doughnuts earlier in the week for a birthday party and was told to pick them up at 11:30 on Sunday morning. When we arrived to pick up our order, they were not ready. The lady told us they forgot about the order because they were busy. There was a note on the register she took off that showed our order and that we had already paid. She said sorry and gave us our money back as they were sold out. We now have 30 minutes before the birthday and no desert as we always do doughnuts...
