So today was my third time going to California shakes and juice bar the first two times I went with my significant other I absolutely loved the experience the people in the products they sell but today I had an awful service experience because I forgot to tell them I wanted yogurt in my smoothie so I turned to walk away to exit the store and realized she didn't put yogurt in it so I asked hey did you put yogurt in this and she said no you didn't ask for yogurt and I said oh I wasn't aware that I had to ask I thought it came in that item already and then she no there is dairy in yogurt rudely I might add and some people are lactose intolerant so you have to ask for it and I said okay well could I please have some yogurt in my smoothie I didn't know that I had to request it and I don't really feel like I should have been lectured and that moment all she had to say was oh I'm sorry you have to let us know you want that added in for next time and not been so and had so much attitude in her tone I won't be going back I'll make my own smoothies for now on I don't come there everyday and spend my hard-earned money to get a negative experience in return and I really regret throwing my tip in that jar but it's fine I'll never say another good word about that store location because when you work in the food industry and the customer service industry you serve to please the customer and whatever way you can I worked and customer service and that is not how you treat the customer ever! And had any other customers been in that store with me at that time I would have truly been so embarrassed that I think I would have demanded my money back and never went to that business anywhere ever again. Please learn how to treat your customers with respect and don't talk to them like they are a child because that's unacceptable. First thing you notice when walking in is the presentation and cleanliness of the store. Instantaneous comfort. I told the store associate who helped us that we had never been there. He immediately gave the rundown of every column on their menu. From most popular, to best selling, and his personal favorites. He offered samples right away which were perfectly mixed. He did a great job at building a rapport with us from start to finish. The most important thing I noticed was the constant flow of business. They had a customer every minute we were there, however they were not getting backed up. Everything was easy and everyone got the same great treatment. I also noticed they knew some of their customers by first name. This is something I felt was imperative in my years of managing retail facilities. It says "I see you" to your clientele. Relationship building is a major key to gaining repeat business. What was just a one cup visit turned into two smoothies, a bowl, two pressed juices, 2 cookies (which he included on the house). Read moreI love this place already! The customer service is top notch. If you're not sure you will like a specific drink, they will give you a sample. I tried the GREEN MONSTER shake... AMAZING! It's full of nutrients but you would never know. My children love it. I also tried a hot cappuccino with almond milk and white chocolate flavor...amazing as well! Their coffee flavorings have NO high fructose corn syrup, only real cane sugar, which is also a huge plus. I never get flavor in my coffee at Dunkin bc it's basically full of fake sugar...who wants to start their body's day off like that??? Not me! Great job Cali Shakes! 😊 We'll definitely be back!
