Third and final update: I must be a glutton for punishment. I don't even know why I keep trying to give them more chances. Delivery is terrible. They forget something every single time. And then I'm told they will make a note with my phone number and I can pick whatever was missing up the next time. Well this past time they forgot my crab rangoon with my dinner special. I was told by a gentleman that works there behind the counter that he would make a note on my account just call back let them know and I could get it next time I ordered. They did not honor that. I ordered it from beyond menu but I signed in as a guest so of course there's no record of it I know it was at least 3 weeks ago because that's when I updated this review. They pretty much accused me of not being honest for not being able to produce a receipt from a few weeks ago.. And every time prior when they forgot something they accused me of not being honest. I am so done with them. I will have to find a new place for Chinese food. I don't even want to go in and sit down and order. They made me feel so bad, like I did something wrong. I hate being made to feel that way. This sucks because the food is actually good. But if I have to go through this every time I order, doesn't matter how, Beyond, GrubHub, Door Dash, or calling to the store directly, I still get screwed over in some way. Hope this helps anyone who is deciding to order from here. I've also looked at other reviews about this restaurant and I am not the only one experiencing delivery issues. 06/2024 Second Update: This restaurant continues to decline on their delivery orders. I've had a few more orders since my last update. It never fails that something is missing. Today my crabragoons were not in the bag. I called to rectify that and the manager told me the girl who packed the bag said they were in there. They were not, I checked several times. He then told me the were in the bag with the egg rolls. I ordered the egg rolls and there are 2 to a bag so there is no way they could have been in there. The only thing I can think is they packed the crunchy soup noodles and thought that was the crabragoon? Either way I was made to feel like I was lying about it. The manager did say he would credit it to my number and the next time I ordered to let them know. The food is still delicious. I have yet to go back to sit in the restaurant which I'm sure would be a better experience. I just won't be ordering from them any more. Update: I don't know what happened but for the past few months I have not been very happy with my orders. The food stick tastes good but my past several orders have been missing items or have been incorrect. Most recently tonight, I ordered Pad Thai with tofu. This is how I have always ordered it with no problem. I got home and there was no tofu in it at all... My order was also missing the fried noodles for my soup. Very disappointed. It's a shame because this has always been my go to place for Chinese food... We always love coming here or ordering takeout or delivery. Food is always delicious and the staff are super friendly. Had a visit here with a friend back in April 2020 when things were getting crazy with Covid. It's located on a strip mall/small shopping center area. The food was great then and even better now. Also, they've changed Decor a little; it's so Cute & Cozy inside. Little Bar area in there too. I've had their Carryout many times, which was good, but feel Dining In is the Best Experience with them. They stay busy with carryout orders, and ppl expect their food RIGHT away, but this is a smaller establishment with not a ton of staff, and since Covid + Inflation, honestly, a lot of places don't really have the amount of staff that's needed.

Was just @ Fortune Cooky again helping a Friend celebrate their birthday on a Friday after 6 pm: It was So nice.✌️ Everything's Always Very Clean inside & directly outside the restaurant. We dined in and were quickly seated. Guy waiting tables is On Point without being Obtrusive & Annoying; is AWESOME, Professional, Efficient, Very Polite + Super Friendly & Helpful even as things got busier on a Friday evening. He greets you warmly upon you getting to your table AND again upon leaving. He really takes care of you; I saw him showing this level of Service with everybody. Restaurant was getting busy but not crowded, and not noisy at all. Families & Couples were dining in or picking up carryout/takeout orders.

Food was DELICIOUS! Please try their Lettuce Wraps, Wontons, Eggrolls, Lo Mein, Steak/Beef, and any of their entrees with rice, lunch specials, etc.! Fortune Cooky has some of THE BEST Chinese & Thai around. Prices I feel are very reasonable given the times. Especially when it's Quality.Their food reminds me of the Old Skool Chinese I had growing up.

Everything came to our table Hot, Fresh, and Yummy. Seasoned just right. No long waits for anything. Great Flavor. From our Appetizers to the Entrees NOTHING disappointed. Generous Portions and enough meat, sauce, veg in all our dishes. Highly Recommend and seriously I've had enough Bad Chinese over the years to know GOOD Chinese when I taste it. THE BEST CHINESE FOOD I EVER ATE. Fortune Cookie has the best Chinese Food, I don't go anywhere else for Chinese Food. I love the fact that they have many items to order on their menu. My Fiance' loves the Pepper Steak and onions. He also loves the Shrimp Toast. He had Shrimp Toast from other Chinese Restaurants and they only give you 4 little Shrimp Toasts and they are really greasy. Fortune Cookie gives you more then 4 and they are perfect, and bigger, and not real greasy and tastes great. I love the Kung Pao Shrimp. The sauce is a tiny spicy not hot and the meal has all kinds of vegetables in it like peppers, onions, baby corns, carrots, water chestnuts, and a few more vegetables. Big shrimp and they also put nuts in it. This meal is so big dining in it is enough for 2. I always have left overs for the next day. The meals are so colorful, and I joke saying it is to pretty to eat. We never wait to be seated and our food comes quick. THE WAITER WANG SO MANY GREAT THINGS TO SAY ABOUT HIM. He cleans the tables, resets them, and takes your order, brings your order to you, and brings your check to you, gives your change back and all with a SMILE. He also at the end of your meal always gives you and your family a little bowl of Orange Sherbert Icecream at no charge. That is Courteous and Considerate of him and the Restaurant. WANG does a lot he does all those duties alone he seems to be the only waiter at least from what I see. We go there often at least twice a month we come from Jessup. He is the only one who has ever waited on us. He is so friendly, brings your food to you as soon as it is ready, and always is so nice to you the whole time you are there. So Kudos to Fortune Cookie, GREAT FOOD, GREAT STAFF, SPECIALLY YOUR WAITER WANG HE DESERVES A RAISE....
