Praline Bakery at Glen Echo Park — Restaurant in Glen Echo

I had no experience because after making a reservation on Resy for 2:45 and arriving at 2:45 on Valentine's Day, my husband and I were first ignored on the lower level and then rudely turned away upstairs, stating that the restaurant was closed and my reservation was at 2:15. Assuming, it was changed by the Resy to 2:15, why would you close a restaurant 15min after the last reservation. Bottom line is the staff was extremely rude and on Valentine's Day no less. They won't have to worry about us patronizing or recommending their establishment...

Two visits, two lessons: first time the coffee with milk barely tastes like there’s any milk in it.

Second visit: Learned our lesson! Bottled drinks only. But then... toddler wanted fizzy water in a can. I asked for one of the plentiful thin plastic cups. Denied! Apparently, these sacred vessels are reserved only for beer purchases. Because nothing says 'family park refreshment' like prioritizing suds over sippy-cup substitutes for preschoolers.

I’ve been here twice— the first time, they had almost nothing offered on the menu and didn’t even have a knife to cut the sandwiches in half for us. The second time (today) there were teenagers working there and once again, no ice cream and a nearly empty pastry case. The sodas were $3… this place has an opportunity to really make some people happy and make some money doing it but… they’re just opting out.
