My husband and I were craving birria and came across this place on a social media platform. After watching a couple of videos, we drove out at 930 at night. They had a few people eating and ordering, but as we stood in line, families and everyone was coming out to get some food. The service was great. Superfrieldly was very patient with the customers ahead of us asking questions and no pressure. We ordered the ramaen. Birria quesadilla and 6 tacos. Was around $50, which wasn't bad for pricing. I wish they had some combo options like a taco plate or a ramen and taco and drink option. The tacos and quesadilla were great. They put the onions and cilantro on the side since some of our family doesn't care for it. The Ramen was great, but the meat lacked some seasoning. We had so much food that we had leftovers as the tacos are full size and packed with meat. When we ate the leftovers, we realized how lean the meat was not much fat. Their salsas the green was amazing next time we will skip the red. It just had a funky flavor I wish I would have gotten more green before we brought the food home. Everything is fresh not done in a prep kitchen and then put on the truck. You can literally see and hear them chopping up the onions and cilantro. This place is so good completely changed my uncles perception of eating food from a taco truck. We will definitely be back again. Just don't be mad when you gotta wait it...
Read moreExcited we found a taco truck so close to home! This gem is in the heart of Historic Downtown Glendale next to Coffee 51. Their tacos are so freakin’ good. We ordered the carne asada, pollo, and quesa birria with consome and it was worth every penny. The flavor is good and taste authentic. I’m picky with my meat, so it’s a hit or miss on finding a good taco spot. This place definitely was above and beyond with the quality of their tacos. And it’s so filling. I could only eat 2/4 that I got. We got a total of 8 tacos and 2 empanadas and spent about $40 in total. Average pricing for when we go out to eat. Also, inside the coffee shop they also have options of coffee, canned soda, Jarritos, and agua frescas. I ordered an horchata and it was really good and the right amount of sweet. It wasn’t too watered down like so many places are. I cannot...
Read moreThe quesabirria is phenomenal. It has the right amount of crunch, perfect cheese to meat ratio and for the price your paying per taco, you are getting your moneys worth with the size of the taco. The consomé also has a very traditional flavor, with a hint of cinnamon. My only critique and reason to why I’m docking a star is that they do not offer guacamole. This is a requirement for the non cheese tacos or the torta. I had to cut up some guacamole at home for the carne asada tacos, which by the way, exceeds the normal standards. The meat is properly seasoned and cooked properly where it’s charred. But it needs guac. At the very least, sell it if you have to. Don’t change up the portions and maintain seasoning and flavors for the meat. But please find a way to get guacamole...
