Well, everyone, you are in for a treat today as I will be giving you a two for. What that means exactly is two reviews in one. A little bit of background, we went here the day before yesterday, and I had the two beef tacos plate with rice and beans, and my girl had the carne asada fries. The day before that, I had the steak egg and cheese burrito and fries delivered. Now, on to the review in question. Yesterday, I was feeling particularly hungry, so I ordered a bean tostada, shredded beef taco, and two rolled tacos. I also ordered a chicken taco and a fish taco to try out. Well, the fish taco and the fish taco were the business. Fry the fish taco asap!!! The beans seem freshly made, which makes the tostada stand out. I previously had the beef taco, and it never disappoints. It may have been a bit much, but it was all so good that I could not stop eating it!!! Today, I decided to go light, and I ordered a green chile burrito and carne asada quesadilla, and they did not disappoint. The pork in the burrito was so thick and chunky and very savory. It was pretty mild to me as far as spiciness goes but very tasty. I prefer my food spicier. The carne asada quesadilla was very good, and I enjoyed it as well. In my life, this is the first place that I have ordered food from four out of the last five days and honestly I feel like a could eat more but I must reign it in a little bit and get back to life, back to reality as one great music group said but I will be back for...
Read moreThis place is not vegan/vegetarian friendly. The cashier initially told me she could do a California burrito vegetarian with no cheese. I got my order and double checked it to find there was meat in it. I went up to her and she says “Oh, yeah, I know vegetariano” So I thought she simply forgot. She returns with the same burrito wrapped twice. I’m thinking she is letting me have the mistaken order since I know she can’t sell it now. I wait for a bit, but my order isn’t coming out. I go up to her ask her if it’s ready and she looks at me confused. I proceed to tell her she just handed me the same burrito and that I had asked for it with no meat. She tells me they don’t do vegetarian California burritos. When I tell her that she told me they could, she denied saying that, and asked me if I wanted my money back. I got my money back. However, I was quite annoyed after this. It was as though I had asked for something ridiculous by asking for a vegetarian California burrito. Something I know is easy to do, is cheaper for them, and is something I’ve had been able to do numerous times at Mexican restaurants in Northern California. She didn’t even seem concerned with working with me on a minor substitution I know they have ingredients readily available for. This place might be good for people who eat meat, but don’t expect much accommodation if you are vegan...
Read moreWent in tonight and tried to order hard tacos and no one there understood what i was asking for. Instead we ordered 4 carne asada tacos and 2 orders of chicken taquitos. One of the orders was to be plain taquitos meaning nothing on them at all. I live 3-4 min driving from this place. I got home and first thing i see is both orders of taquitos had everything on them and were soggy and fell apart when i tried to pick them up. Second issue is that the carne asada tasted and looked nothing like i had had there 2 days earlier. This meat was shreeded or chopped and was old because it was extremely salty and had on odd flavor. Last but not least my daughter wanted some horchata and it was horrible! Tasted like straight water that had plain rice soaking in it. No cinnamon or sweetness whats so ever! I love mexican food and i can cook it as well and nothing about this place was good! Wasted $27 dollars and am now sitting in the bathroom due to an upset stomach that myself and...
