Poliberto's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Glendale

Gave it a one because I had always enjoyed this place. Clearly now the people who work there did not want to be there and when my order was messed up , no apologies or nothing. The little boy just asked for my card back , got on his calculator and gave me my refund of $3 instead of just charging me what was owed for the mix up. Mind you after he charges my card again he shuts the window and I get glares from the other workers. By now my first original order which is a taco and tostada are soggy and I leave with my completed order only to find that my carne asada chips are fries . I am clearly during a little further now to get better service. I don't think these people realize they are not the only ....... Berto in town. It took everything in me not to tell that little boy that I'm glad he apologized for the mistake. But nothing. My family has a business and I would never let a customer leave without apologizing and making sure the correct food was given. OK now the food. I ordered tacos to go and they were raw. I called to get credit and and when a lady answered and i asked for a manager she slammed the phone and hung up. I called a dozen more times and the phone went straight to busy. (forget this and threw away the cra66y food.

called a little later and Ivan answered. he said he could cook them if i brought them back. I told him how nasty and wrong that it and he said he would credit me for the taco's and all i need to do is bring them in. I told him I threw them away because of the lady hanging up on me and I was not gonna dig in the trash. Ivan said I could talk to the owner and gave me a disconnected number.(pretty messed up or the owner cant pay his bill LOL)

Advise..... If you get take out here, make sure you check your food and don't ask for anything above and beyond. 2 stars for good food...

I spent 16$ on Carne asada fries without sourcream and asked they place the cheese and guacamole on the side since I had a ways to drive home and wanted to warm it if needed when I got home and they accommodated me.... but when I got home and opened up the box the amt of meat that was supposed to be in it was lacking to say the least. . I've been a long time customer and the amt of meat that they put in the box was a tiny sprinkle, compared to what they gave me the previous time and it wasn't long ago, almost 2.5 weeks.
