Subway — Restaurant in Glendale

11/7/2025 I had the WORST experience. Very Rude and unprofessional staff.. The young man working put half scoops of tuna on my sandwich. I asked him to add more, he said it would be an added charge. I asked him if he was supposed to put full scoops. He replied he did. I am thinking (they have cameras as I used to work at a Subway years ago). anyway he then over loaded my sandwich with tuna, to intentionally make a point. Then he was putting pickles on by the handful, not spreading them out when I brought it up he said I don't have to be that way. From my professional experience he may need a mental health eval. NOT being mean truth. he used his baby face which had everyone feeling bad for him when all I wanted was a legit Subway tuna. The other sandwich maker, a female was talking to a customer about me out loud. VERY uncomfortable. Subway this is not standard subway etiquette unless things has changed...

I was just in the store, Sunday July 16th, 2023 just after 8pm. The food is fine, but the two girls working seemed so miserable that if I wasn’t in a hurry, I would have walked away mid order and went to another location. They were trudging around, looking at the ground, completely monotone, without any inclination of wanting to be there. No welcome in, no thank you, no have a nice day. Just seemed like they were being forced to be there by threat of harm. It really made the atmosphere awful in the store. They just seemed so bothered to have to be doing their job. It was quite a shame. I will be going out of my way for now on to go to another store. I understand people have bad days, but when you work with the public you don’t take it out of your customers and do your best to put on a happy face. Thank you for making my spicy Italian as requested with customizations per uber eats app. I have ordered the same sandwich the same way for over 25 years and for the last 13 years from the peoria location at 75th and cactus, in the last month I have have had to threw out 4 orders for my ritual Friday sandwich, took a chance on your shop tonight and I feel rewarded in my request from your shop. Super happy to receive my order as requested and the uber delivery driver though i scared the bejesus out of him delivered accordingly. TY for keeping it real! 3 weeks later….Today my subway order did not allow pickles for whatever reason which i was disappointed with and i asked for mayo and oil and the sandwich is completely dry, not good. I wonder if they only offer certain toppings until a certain time of day. Ordered another today will let you know how it goes. And the sandwich is perfect! Back in...
