I kept getting flyers for this place in the mail so I decided to try it, and I'm glad I did! Everything was super tasty and freshly made. We got a family meal with a few different options, the chicken katsu was the star and I imagine I'll come back many times just for that. The Korean chicken was very tasty as well, it tastes strongly of gochujang which I love, and it's very hot! The fried rice was also great. I think the item I was least impressed by was the macaroni salad, it just seemed to be lacking a little something. But once I salted it and mixed a little bit of the sauce from the Korean chicken into it, it was also very good. I went here to pick up an order I made online. I purchased a family meal deal plus 1 drink and a side of shrimp which came out to 70 dollars including tax. On a positive note, the portions were large and the crispy chicken was good. On a not so positive note, the beef short ribs were pretty greasy...although they tasted alright. The katsu chicken was not crispy and was soggy...almost like it had been reheated in a microwave, also the taste wasn't so great compared to katsu from other Hawaiian bbqs I have been to. My wife said she got a stomach ache and had to use restroom not long after eating her food (which she couldn't finish). I had no such upset stomach from it. But I did expect better quality food. I'm giving this place 5 stars across the board. Almost perfect in every aspect. I ordered the Hawaiian plate with BBQ chicken and BBQ beef...absolutely delicious! The portion size is not the biggest, but the quality is definitely there. The mac salad was phenomenal, and had that slightly charred aftertaste with a near perfect texture and flavor. There really isn't too much bad to say here, other than the portion size being a bit small for my liking but that's more a matter of personal preference...I'm a pretty big guy and like to split meals this expensive into 2 meals unless I'm starving.
