V Boulevard Cafe — Restaurant in Glendale

We decided to sit outside to have our meal on victory. First a very friendly and kind waitress came out to get us water and get us settled. We had a vegan at the table and she was satisfied with her order. A vegetarian who also was very happy and the meat eater. They ordered vegan and vegetarian scrambles. I ordered eggs Benedict. It was light and fluffy and creamy and delicious. I also got a cappuccino, they got black coffee, and we were very satisfied with the quantity and the quality of the food that we ordered. The food arrived fairly quickly. It was hot and delicious and I am going to bring my sister back here to have either breakfast or lunch. It’s nice having a family style but very high-quality food when you sit down today. Like I said, I will be returning, and the only reason why I gave them four stars is, I’m always in love with decor. Delightful little gem on the border of Glendale and Griffith Park. I'm always on the lookout for places just like this that are non-chain, family-owned with charm and character. This place is exactly that. I confess that I actually didn't want to write this because I want to keep this secret to myself but the staff are so welcoming. I want them to do well and survive whatever is happening to our economy right now. I came with my little dog in her stroller (laugh but it keeps her calm and out of trouble) and we sat in the outdoor seating on the boulevard. So comfy! My kid ordered the matcha pancakes and I ordered the Eggs Benedict. We both had oat milk lattes. Everything was so yummy like comfort food but better than I could make and I have decent cooking skills. Overall a very pleasant breakfast experience.
