I had to repeatedly ring the red button because they kept dismissing it. Over 30 minutes and still sitting at this "in the kitchen" screen. I have had terrible service here before but was trying to give it another chance since the outside kiosks were working. If I hadn't paid already by card I'd leave. There is another Sonic 15 minutes further away and I'll be going there instead if I ever feel like it. I'm getting ignored. Hoping my food comes out alright.
Then after another 20 minutes A screen came up saying, "Tammy is headed your way with your food" but the screen went back to normal and all the other cars left. Some of them left because of the sat and waited to order but no one ever answered.
Update: I flagged down a car hop and she brought me out food but it was the wrong food. She even said it looked like the wrong food because I didn't order a corn dog at all but admitted it would take longer if I waited for them to fix it. Sure enough. The footlong chili cheese dog we ordered was a regular dog, my kids Jr Burger meal was just a corndog (which she hates so I gave her my burger instead). Read moreI've been visiting this sonic since they opened and it's my first complaint. Lately the workers ignore my order and it takes forever. Last time I waited 30 minutes for 3 milkshakes and I went to the window to find out why they were taking so long and they only looked at each other with others and they say we have not taken your order and they laughed, I called the manager and said my problem took my order and I waited for another 15 minutes I was very angry my children crying because they were restless in the car, they opened the window and reached for a milkshake and then they took time and I touched them and I told them there are 3 milkshakes my son was already having one and the girl who served kept laughing to which I told her to return my money for the other two milkshakes because I would not continue waiting, then she told me We can't give you back for both, give me back the shake we gave you and we'll give you back for the three you ordered, I had to take my son's shake that he was already drinking and hand it over so they could give me a refund and there I have my son crying for What was happening. Read moreI had higher hopes for this sonic after they re-opened. Their ordering kiosks don’t accept payment. Of the two times I have been there they have completely left off items that were paid for. The items received were not fresh and not made correctly. The manager will simply state I can’t help you with a refund if you order on the app🤷🏼♀️. A refund is the only solution for food that isn’t fresh and menu items left out. I really dislike this for this location that is closest to me. They have a long way to go to get this up to a mediocre standard. It’s disheartening that we don’t have access to good food anywhere near Glenn Heights(that I know of).These restaurants really need to do better. Corporate needs to come in and enforce a very basic standard for Sonic. That would be a vast improvement. What’s the point of renovating/reopening when the service and food quality is this bad?
