IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD !! I ordered my food through the drive-through. When I made it to the window, they said they were out of corn nuggets so I would have to choose two different sides. I did so with no issue, of course. People to run out of different items on the menu. After paying I was told that I would need to wait seven minutes for my wicked wings. I said OK and I pulled into the parking lot. My food did not come out until 15 minutes later. I sat in the parking lot and check my order due to the fact that every time I go to this particular GoldenChick, my order is incorrect. Unfortunately, one of my side orders were missing. I was also missing a honey mustard. I went into the store and told one of the team members that they forgot my side order. One of the team members provided it as it was being provided . I also asked for a honey mustard and I was told that they placed three in the bag. I told them it was only two in the bag and there was not one in my box with my chicken tenders. Which that is the same box that was missing the side. at that time, the gentleman began to argue with me. He told me that I wasn’t supposed to have a side item although I ordered a four piece tender meal. And had paid full price for it. He also told me that he placed three honey mustards in the bag, although I only got two. At that time I asked him if I needed to go to my car to get my receipt so I can show him and a female staff member then said it’s OK and told me to leave. I told them that it’s not OK to argue with customers, especially when they got my order wrong. I understand if I would’ve been an angry customer with the lack of understanding, but the fact that I was nice about the situation, and still was disrespected, is totally unacceptable. I told them that I would be calling corporate, and I asked for the gentleman‘s name that had intimidated me. His name was Andrew from what he told me, however, I don’t even know if that was the truth. This will be my last time visiting this golden chick. Read moreThis is my favorite GC in the Glenn Heights/DeSoto area. I usually go on my lunch there is rarely a line, and if there is, its never been more than 2 cars, food is fresh, and I've never been told "were out of"..... I even encourage business at this particular GC.. Go to the one on Ovilla it's better, go to Ovilla, it's quicker.. So imagine my heartbreak when I arrived at 10:31 Friday night, placed an order for 3 (6pc) tender basket combos. I paid $34.07 for my food and was told by Mable I would have to wait 10 mins for my order..Understandable. At 11:09 a crew worker came to deliver food that belonged to another car and at 11:15 Mable came back out to tell me they couldn't fulfill my order. 40 MINS LATER?! I asked why. She said the fryer was off and that she told the manager (Ken Wright) about my order, but he refused to turn the fryers back on. I requested to speak with him. She warned me that he was not going to come out (coward)., but she did go try. SHE came back out to say he said he wasn't coming out and I could either get a refund or nothing at all. I pretty regularly come to get rolls and tea so to hear o we aren’t doing that right now stunned me. That’s like buying a coke to hear we’re not doing that right now. How am I suppose to know when you are or aren’t ? I thought the point of being open is to make money whether a $1 or $5 it’s money. Sometimes young kids are difficult to feed and sometimes they only want certain things so after trying hours to get them to eat and they agree it is more devastating to come back empty handed . A young child doesn’t understand o we are not doing that right now .
