Aegean Pizza — Restaurant in Glocester

I am extremely disappointed with this place. I have been ordering for about 2 years now since I have moved into chepachet and have ordered fairly often. Sometimes the order has come right but the majority of the time I feel like anyone who answers the phone 1. Doesn’t listen to anything you say 2. Give attitude when asked a question 3, writes down the opposite of what is being said. They have sent me pizzas when I ordered calzones, they have send me hamburger pizza when I ordered mushroom, and they have now complete cancelled my order without notice. BUT last night had to have been the WORST experience I have EVER had ordering anywhere!

My fiance and I work labor out in the sun all day and yesterday was extremely hot while we installed a stone patio. We did not eat all day until we wanted something to be delivered because of how beat we were. I have called at 8pm for a bbq chicken calzone. They told me an hour wait. OKAY I guess because that’s what we wanted to eat. Now 8:30rolls around and we get a call saying that they were just informed there was no BBQ sauce. I asked them if they could still make the calzone without the sauce and that would be fine. 9:30 rolls around and nothing has shown up yet. I decided to give them a call and some girl picked up saying the dude who called me about the sauce CANCELLED MY ORDER!! Are you joking right? I told him to STILL MAKE MY FLIPPING ORDER! We were beyond starving at this point and very disappointed had to order dominoes WHICH came super fast but still... it was an extremely frustrating experience to have so late at night after working in the sun all day. Won’t ever order again....

Finally, an honest and comprehensive review of Aegean Pizza:

Service: The service at Aegean gets a solid 4/5 stars from me. The variables that I took into account when reflecting upon my experience are as follows: 1. Hospitality- I was immediately greeted with a smile and unique greeting from each employee at this establishment and even engaged in pleasant conversation with some of the employees while waiting for my food. However, they told me to never come back when I left, hence the deducted review score. 2. Speed- I walked in and got my pizza within 30 minutes, though the time flew by fast due to the chill atmosphere and lovely staff. 4/5

Atmosphere: Aegean is the quintessential Chepachet pizza joint. There were not many other patrons in the seating area but there was plenty of seating in case of a chaotic pizza rush. There were two bathrooms available (pink and blue bathroom keys attached to sticks) I chose the pink bathroom and it was clean enough (still a bathroom) and stocked well. There were also some paintings hung up in the bathroom which made the vulnerability of the public urination experience feel a bit more manageable. 5/5

Food: The food I got was good! There were an assortment of sandwiches available and written on the wall, but I opted for an extra large pizza with barbecue chicken, spinach, red onion, and garlic, and garlic parmesan bites. These were both hot and delicious, and not too greasy. I am sure their sandwiches are just as solid. 4/5 from me, nothing crazy, but great food...

Been coming here for years, and in the past I had never had any issues but the past two weeks its gone down hill here. First, I placed an order for a Bacon Pineapple pizza for a party and instead got Hawaiian Pizza. Issue with this is most of the kids don't eat ham so it went to waste. I called the let them know about the mix up and they told me I would get a credit. Next week I wanted to order a Bacon and Pineapple again, but come to find out I was never given my credit. I was disappointed, but I got the pizza anyway. Yesterday, my daughter graduated and my family and I went here to have our lunch. Parents food looked great, my sandwich looked great until I pulled a long blond hair out from between the meat. The woman in the back was nice and redid my sandwich. Especially since we are all brunettes in the group. My daughter was half way throw her 3rd slice of pizza and the slice she pulled out had what we thought was a long string of cheese. As I pulled on it I found it to be another blond hair and a smaller light brown hair sticking out the side. I brought the pizza to the counter and the girl with the knee brace grunted when I told her about the hair. Looked at the hair, rolled her eyes and tossed it out. She wrapped my sandwich and basically tossed it at me with a 'Here'. No sorry for the food, no let me tell them in the back. Just straight up attitude and rudeness.
