Hilltop Creamery — Restaurant in Gloucester Township

It wouldn't be fair or accurate to post a review based on a single thing i disliked on my last visit but it is the catalyst in my decision to write this now. Therefore, I will declare, of my last 35 visits, only this most recent on 12-10-21 have I anything to criticize about. So it should be the excellent variety and friendliness of service and great tasting desserts that anyone reading this should take from it, and not that only on this last visit i found the normally great, round ice cream sandwich to be slightly not so tasty as i detected a faint taste of something that I didn't like, with the cookies specifically, and consistent with all, i found it to taste like a cleaning product, like kaboom or generic bathroom tile cleaning spray. Keep in mind, it was NOT bad enough to stop me from eating both of the sandwiches i ordered but it almost did. I've gotten these half dozen times before and just this time they were bad. in summary, this is a great place to get an ice cream treat

Delicious ice cream and a ton of flavors to choose from. Ice cream comes in regular and soft serve varieties, and both types have an almost-overwhelming amount of flavors. The list of toppings is just as long. Ice cream is served in a cone or a cup, or as a sundae. They also have some unique desserts like waffle sandwiches, chocolate covered bananas, milkshakes, floats, etc. If you can't eat ice cream, I believe they have frozen yogurt available but probably not as many flavors to choose from as the ice cream. If you're more into water ice, they do have a big variety of water ice available.

In addition to all of the desserts, they also serve hot pretzels and hot dogs which are Nathan's. Of course these also have toppings available. I believe the only drink they serve is water, but there may be soda available as well.

This is a great place to go to on a warm night to eat some ice cream outside or take it home with you. If you bring your dog, they have doggie ice cream for sale. Prepare to stand in line because it can get pretty crowded, but the line moves quickly most...

Was there for an event for my sons elementary school. The parking, when busy/crowded, was very tricky with kids running around and line being long. Some stuff is properly priced, while others are extremely expensive. They do, however, have an amazing menu with TONS of different choices and flavors. My total came to $5.25, I handed the girl $6 and expected to get $.75 back. Instead the girl said they were low on change and asked if i could walk away with no change. I was going to tip them anyway but if that was my place, i would have just charged me $5 and be $.25 short, than to provide a negative experience for a customer. I know they are very young workers there and it probably is their first job, so that's why i still gave 4/5 stars. I know there was a lot of people there, and was very busy, but hopefully the owners would teach the cashiers the correct way to customer service so they have the knowledge for...
