Stop to battle and take over a pokemon go gym, other than the smallish parking area and nothing for kids amusement as I could see from the parking lot area like swings and slides. Again I didn't take any of the walking trails though but maybe it should be timber creek hiking trails or something else like nature sight seeing paths instead of the word park in the title. Being a person that is a parent with young kids and also a person who is big with using Google maps quite often to see what's in the area I'm at sometimes, whether to either entertain the kids for being good, maybe to kill time while waiting for our plans to be able to start, or even taking some of the kids for fun and be entertained or even just to have them run off some steam so they aren't acting out or embarrassing us while mom has either a drs appointment for her or one or more of the kids so we can try to make sure that where we're going actually is as it is described as being we need kid friendly things to do. So whenever you have park in the name I'd normally usually go to that place 1st being we are going to have the kids to have fun. Obviously google didn't name the place and I didn't go exploring the trails neither but it seemed more like a teen and adult place. Maybe we should be doing something with the reviews for age appropriate places kind of how the tv channel/show or a movie say it's age appropriate veiwer discretion or what's appropriate like G-.-PG-..-R for the maturity and age of consent for these places we the ppl are reviewing and visiting for the ppl and parents who are concerned about their kids and places they are going to...
Read moreI travel a lot and have been to many dog parks all over the country, and this is one of my favorites. With acres of fenced-in wooded trails and also trails outside the fenced area there is a lot of opportunity for fun and training with your dogs. Generally, the people are great, and the dogs are fun and friendly. However, I have two big gripes. Why are there still people who are so inconsiderate and do not pick up after their dogs? People who bring toddlers and small dogs to this park. There are free-running large dogs that are wound up with energy and you don’t know them. It only takes a second for a catastrophe that will break your heart for a lifetime. Find a park that is exclusively...
Read moreEven though there is absolutely no signage for this park, this is a great dog park! The fenced in area is about 9 acres, walking the inside perimeter once is roughly a 1/2 mile in distance. It's wooded with plenty of trails and my pups love running all around in there chasing squirrels and playing with other dogs. There's a water fountain for humans and dogs on the outside of the fenced in area and a bunch of water bowls in the enclosed area. Every few days I bring a gallon jug of water to leave inside the park for other pups to get a drink like other...
