Positively hate this store. I go to Wawa every day for one reason or another. This Wawa on corner of Somerdale rd & Chewslanding rd, is the worst I’ve ever been in. I never complain about Wawa They’re great and if they make something wrong they fix it , always friendly etc. Not this one. I work right down the street from this place and drive 2miles farther to shop at Wawa. Tonight I decided to stop in this particular location cause I was in a hurry and just wanted cigarettes. I was the only person in the store, it’s like a morgue as usual, 6 employees not 1 of them even look at u let alone speak. After a few minutes, I looked over at a girl who kept turning around to look at me but continued her conversation with another employee. When I caught her eye I asked if she was the cashier. She said,”yeah in a minute “. Ok Still the only person in the store and 1 is cooking, 2 ran in the back, 1 walked past me saying,” I’m not the cashier tonight I have to stock mayonnaise “, and of course the girl who told me “in a minute “ and her buddy were continuing blabbing. 6 employees, 1 customer needing 1 pack of cigarettes and I’m still waiting! I’ve given this store several chances in 2 years and it’s always a waste of my time. I leave frustrated and pissed I have to go somewhere else every time! I’m sure that’s why it’s always empty in there. Close it down because it’s never going to be a success. Employees there must teach the new hires to be that way too cause it never changes. Don’t bother stopping there unless you have nothing better to do with your time and you want to be aggravated. Sorry Wawa. It’s the only one that is bad...

I live by this location so I’m at this location often and usually have to speak to the person making my order due to the fact I have kids and they are very peculiar . If your paying for your order you should be able to ask for specifics and the person that’s not even making it shouldn’t catch an attitude bc they have to do their JOB. From the time I walked up (THE SANDWICH LADY) walked over and felt that she had to make my business hers . And she was very aggressive and rude despite I had my kids with me . And as I talked to her she rudely started to sing to block me out. A little fyi this is not your business to even bring down this location, customers shouldn’t feel uncomfortable because of one person. The other lady was super nice along with the manager “Peter”and all other staff. As she seen me ask for him, she started watching me and laughing than she started talking on the mic about the situation. Super ignorant , and very low. Read moreWent late last night for a couple drinks. The older gentleman working cash register needs a serious attitude adjustment. To start, when he finally came to register with an angry look on his face, I said “how you doing?” to which I received no reply but anger in his face, no problem. Then the card machine shuts off and he acts like it’s my fault. Takes near 5 mins to turn back on and it was showing the food pictures so I asked “is this back on?” And he angrily says “does it look on?” WOW!!!! Then finally, this is over and he SCREAMS at me “I SAID HAVE A NICE DAY!!”
Like what is going on at this location. I grew up in this area but I will never ever spend another dollar here as long as this specific gentleman works here.
This location has a serious problem if that’s the (angry) face people are being greeted by. It’s like this Wawa hires exclusively employees with bad attitudes but this older gentleman takes the cake for anything I’ve seen here. He really has “main character” syndrome.
