Holy Tomato — Restaurant in Gloucester Township

WOW! What a great place to enjoy some of Americas favorites! The wife and I made another visit to this Spectacular Diamond in the Rough. Our starters were their House Salad, which we highly recommend, and their Mexican Street Corn. Absolutely Delicious, with a taste all its own. The salad is so tasty with its home made dressing and the corn is like no other-it’s that good! A Must in Our Book! Then comes the Pizza, we have tried most, no one favorite as they are all uniquely tasteful and different. Last but not least, the deserts, The Cinna-Balls are a sweet lovers dream and the Cappuccino belongs in a Five Star restaurant and I’m not kidding when we say that. And to complement the Awesome food are the very delightful staff and of course The Owners. We can’t say enough nice things about Everyone here and the food they serve. All we can do is tell any and all to put this on your food bucket list-you will be very happy you did so and no need to thank us. Looking forward to our next visit here! 12-29-23. Once again, the food here was Excellent! We had The Boardwalk pizza and tried something new that was a recommendation from a friend-The Pickle Pie-it was unexpectedly Delicious! So many different flavors combined to make one great taste. Highly recommend! Heading back this Friday to eat it again. Don’t forget to try a Salad, we had the House Salad which is always delicious! Can’t go wrong with any of the salads or pizza for that matter. Oh, and by the way, don’t forget the Cappuccino- as I always say it belongs in a 5star restaurant. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Holy Tomato, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with warmth and kindness. Holy Tomato truly lives up to its name, offering a heavenly combination of delightful pizza and exceptional service.

First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to Charlotte, our waitress during our visit. Charlotte's presence at Holy Tomato is a significant asset to the restaurant. She embodies the true spirit of hospitality, as she attended to our every need with a genuine smile and a friendly demeanor. Charlotte's genuine interest in our satisfaction created a personalized touch that made us feel like honored guests. Charlotte's attention to detail and her willingness to go above and beyond made our dining experience truly memorable. Throughout our meal, Charlotte demonstrated remarkable attentiveness and a keen eye for detail. She effortlessly managed the busy restaurant, ensuring that each table received the attention it deserved. Despite the demands of her job, Charlotte always made time to check on us, answer any questions we had, and offer helpful recommendations from the menu.

Charlotte's professionalism and warm personality create an atmosphere that keeps customers coming back for more. Her contributions undoubtedly contribute to the overall success of Holy Tomato, and I believe that she should be rewarded for her exceptional work. It is my hope that the management at Holy Tomato recognizes Charlotte's invaluable contributions and considers providing her with a well deserved raise.

My coworkers and I went to Holy Tomato after a long day at work. We called ahead and when we arrived Terri greeted us and told us they were preparing a table for us. We waited about 10 minutes or so and she brought us over to our little table. After we ordered our pizza’s she brought us over a complimentary salad and let us know the pizzas are coming out a little bit slower as they were busy (which totally understandable- ourselves coming from a busy day at work) My friend asked about the wine and Terri gave her recommendation which she orderedu. She didn’t realize the wine was served by bottle, and again Terri apologized and said she would discount it (which she did not have to do at all!!) we ate the salad and the pizza was still taking a bit to come out, so Terri brought us over a little thing of pub mix to snack on too and apologized for the wait. Once the pizza arrived it was absolutely worth the wait! We got a Buffalo and a boardwalk and they were both absolutely delicious and so large we had leftovers to take home as well. The entire night was MUCH needed after a long, busy day at work and the service was phenomenal. Terri really went above and beyond to take care of us. We had a great time and are so happy to see local businesses doing well after the rough year for small businesses. We will definitely be back for Terri’s amazing service and Holy Tomato’s incredibly tasty food!...
