Hands down, one of my absolute favorite places in the Alton/Godfrey area. One of my favorite things to do is sit by a window in their cute seating area and have a dessert with a glass of champagne. I've gotten plenty of stuff to go as well, from biscuits & gravy (the best in the area) to desserts to share (faves include cannoli, Nanaimo bars, and cream puffs) to lunch time things (crab cakes, French onion soup, and well, anything else they have, honestly). I've never had anything I didn't like or even felt lukewarm toward. It's all excellent.

It was superb from beginning to end!! The service, menu, food, presentation, kindness of staff & the taste of everything was excellent. We ate to our heart's content & went home w/a full leftovers carton. We particularly loved the marscapone spread & chocolate layered desert w/edible golf leaf. Cucumber sandwiches are always yummy. And the brioche pastry w/potato & hearty cheddar melted inside was fabulous! The Jambon et Fromage on a perfectly warmed and crunchy French baguette is a bit of heaven on Earth. Executive Chef Kieran McGuane and Martha Phillips were present and exceedingly kind.
