Carmen's Cafe — Restaurant in Godley

Had high hopes for this local establishment after reading other reviews. We went on a Saturday after lunch. 20 minute wait at table before order was taken. Chips and queso brought out at same time as meal. Queso consistency was like water. Salsa is flavorless. The crunchy taco was great! The cheese enchiladas were fair. No chicken enchiladas. No charro beans. Rice was good. Drinks are huge. That was a plus. Servers were friendly but overwhelmed. Wish I could say more about this location but I would go across the street next time...

Food was excellent. Salsa was delicious. Service was 20 stars! Mercedes was the best and treated us like we've been her best customers for 20 years. My only regret is not coming here sooner.

We had chilaquiles and the carne asada plate. Finally... authentic carne asada! Chilaquiles were perfect; tortillas were fresh and tasty. Red and green salsas were very good, nice heat....

Well I like they’re breakfast burritos but however I just went in there this morning on 6-22-20 and paid $10 for a burrito I been paying $5 for since well for a while.... they are good but not that good... will no longer be getting breakfast there anymore.. in fact I just got burritos there Saturday and was...
