Wasn't to happy with them tonight. Ordered a large butterfinger blizzard large chocolate covered strawberry blizzard and a medium vanilla shake for my service dog. 17 dollars. The Butterfinger was great. She over filled the chocolate strawberry one. And when she put it on the counter she tipped it over and the counter was disgusting. She asked me if I wanted a new cup. I said I want a new shake this counter is gross. She smiled said okay. I literally watched her dump the old shake in a new cup. Then she handed me a pup cup. I told her what's this. She said you wanted a ice cream for your dog. I explained to her I ordered a medium vanilla shake and you charged me for that. I want my vanilla shake for him. She explained they didn't have any medium cups to save face. She said I'll remake it for you so I wait. She comes back with a large vanilla shake and charged me 2.08 for the difference. I calmly payed but it has earned them a review. If this place is busy don't go there. I live by it and have never had issues like this. And I go there alot. However tonightvit was busy. And this happened. Let's see if any one reaches out to me.two charges on my credit card very easy to show for there mistakes....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe ice cream was good, but Iām irritated about the ācash discount.ā To explain, the total for 2 small blizzards was $9.44. A bit expensive but not a dealbreaker. I use my card to pay for the order, and a payment notification pops up in my phone saying Iāve been charged $10.13.
When thereās a cash discount, a customer would expect to have the price of $9.44 discounted to a lower price if theyāre paying by cash. I wouldnāt expect to be charged more money than the total displayed on the register. I wasnāt even notified by the cashier that a fee was incurred. Itās not a cash discount if itās just an additional charge.
Thereās a small sign next to the register that says thereās a ācash discount of $0.69.ā However, itās confusing as to why a hidden fee is added onto the total for card users. At least initially ask for $10.13 and then discount it to $9.44 if I use cash. That would be an appropriate way to apply a discount.
I didnāt bother complaining to the cashier since sheās probably heard the same complaints all day and canāt do anything about it. Better to write a review so others know...

As someone else commented, this DQ charges a $0.69 fee if you don't use cash. They try to call it a "cash incentive," when really it's a credit fee. You don't recieve a discount if you pay with cash - instead, you are charged an additional fee for paying with a card.
I wouldn't have an issue with that if it was made obvious to the customer. The only notification is a fine-print statement on the door and at the register. Very easy to miss, especially when you're distracted by all the ad posters and hand-written signs. I only just noticed it on my last visit.
The charge is not included in the total they give you at the register, which I feel is very misleading. It only shows up on your receipt/bank statement. I would like to know how long they have been charging customers this fee without their knowledge. Based on the fact that only one review mentions this, I would say most customers...
