So, let me start by saying I am a manager of a fast food restaurant. Genuinely. I also Dash on the side. I came in tonight, 9/17/2021, around 10pm. As soon as I walked in a woman wearing the manager's shirt greeted me and asked if I was Door Dash. I said yes. She told the girl that was expediting and then went out to the lobby to talk to another woman who worked there. I waited for approximately 10-15 minutes. I assumed it was because of the size of the order for the first 5 or so minutes. I realized that the woman was “waiting on fries”. So fries came up and they all went straight to DT. No big deal, I get it, they may have been there before me. The next basket came up. DT. And so on for about 5 more minutes. When I finally spoke up, the manager finally came over to see what was going on and the crew told her the same thing “waiting on fries”. I get my food. No apology or anything. While I’ve been wasting my time here missing out on money, my customer waiting on food, that’s been sitting on the counter getting cold mind you, because I’ve been “waiting for fries” for 15 minutes when they only cook for about 2:25. To wrap it up, because this is a bit long, while I do whole heartedly understand getting out DT orders, you can’t neglect your lobby/online orders. You’re messing with my money and other Dasher’s money and customer’s food and that’s simply disrespectful. Would give negative...
Read moreI have literally received a screwed up order every other time I've visited this location over the past few months. I've always had a bad experience with receiving screwed up orders quite often, but never have I had a mere 50/50 success/failure rate with my orders for such a prolonged period. Today I placed an order for a bacon egg and cheese mcgriddle and a hash brown, and instead received a sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle and an unacceptably soft hash brown. When I returned to get my order corrected, I was treated with respect and courtesy but still received bad food. My mcgriddle was corrected but was lacking in overall quality compared to the norm, and the hash brown I received was even softer than the original. This hash brown was pretty much defrosted. There was no crunch whatsoever. I'm going to get in contact with a manager and get my money back so I can go eat somewhere with food worth paying for. I am now quite upset and am late for work. I'll remove or change my review when the service and standards at this location change. IF I go...
Read moreOf the 4 Mcdonald's locations that serve the Goldsboro, NC area, this is the one to avoid. It's location is perfect, serving the eastern most part of the city. The staff and food, however, are strangely, and noticeably of much lesser quality than the other 3. CONSISTENCY is the hallmark of any "mass market" brand, despite what service or product they supply. Location is the only Consistent attribute of this Mcdonald's. The Food is often below expected temp and possessing a "not fresh" flavor. The staff couldn't seem to care less, and seem bothered by any issue you might voice. There are 3 other locations in close proximity, either will serve you better. This location does match the others in reference to breakfast items, and hours. The staff and food are 100% during the mornings. Even the menu switches to lunch, anything good leaves with early crew, and food. A literal "night and...
