I brought my kids to have a nice lunch since they liked Hibachi I wanted to surprise them. Unfortunately our Hibachi chef was having a bad day by arguing with another employee and he took out on my sweet 12 year old daughter making her cry. She did what he asked by bringing her plate closer and he said “ why can’t you do a simple task!” My daughter cried. The other customers sitting by us also noticed how rude he was being and said something to him. He tried gaslighting, he tried blame on communication but than he saw I wasn’t having it and shut **. I said something and left. I mean, what. Is. Happening. To. Customer service? When became ok to pick on kids at your job? I do hope they fired him. His behavior was Unacceptable! He should be ashamed of himself and be let go from his job. If you can’t provide customer service, work from home! He was so fixated on making her feel bad that he burned the food and had to re do it. I don’t know how it taste it because I left. By the way, you said my 4.0 GPA daughter can’t perform a simple task and here you are cooking for her and you Cannot do that...
Read moreMy son and I ate here based on my son's choosing. We were seated in the dining area because we were not going to order hibachi. The server promptly took our drink order and then we felt rushed to order food, even after asking for a few minutes to look over the menu. I ordered a "fancy" tuna roll and my so ordered a bento box (teryaki chicken). My roll was delivered to the table about 10 minutes ahead of my son's meal. The tuna roll was nothing special. My son's bento box was exactly what he wanted, and then some. After the food was delivered, it was difficult getting the waiter's attention. We did not have any napkins, chop sticks or utensils, soy sauce dishes, or straws. Each item was brought to the table separately. Because the waiter would run off after dropping off our food items before hearing us out on our needs, we had to grab the attention of a different waiter to have our needs met. For me the overall experience would have been a 2 star, but I scored it a three because my 9 year old son enjoyed himself despite the aggrivation I...
Read moreOur family decide to eat Hello Tokyo to go for dinner. Everything seemed to be going smoothly; Order our usual steak hibachi dinners with soups, salad, and L.S.U rolls. We got home with our food and noticed that the soups we ordered were not in the bag. I called to check and make sure that we were supposed to get them since I specifically remember ordering clear soups. The lady taking our ordered ASKED me what type I would like with my meal on the phone. After speaking with the young lady who said we had to ask for the soups when ordering; we asked to speak to the manger. He was very rude and hung up the phone. We tried calling back and he did not answer. We tried on another phone and quickly someone picked up. We asked to speak to the manager again and they refused. This is not the first time we have not received all the food we ordered. But have given them many chance. The service has gone down tremendously! I am very disappointed ever since the new ownership. I will be taking my...
