Spectacular Tubers — Restaurant in Gonzales

They just got bought out by a very nice man who employed his mamma to take orders. Mamma was as sweet as can be and very customer service oriented. The owner gave helpful menu suggestions on his favorite sandwich. I ordered the club croissant and potato salad. The croissant has actual real turkey on it, not that over processed stuff you get at other sandwich places. The sandwich was delicious! The potato salad was very good too, and the iced tea is actually brewed there and not one of those machines that take tea concentrate and mix it with water and call it iced tea. Awful. I had to wait almost an hour for one potato. I watched everyone behind me who would come in after me and order get their food. Their orders were large many times and I was still just waiting for my one potato. Finally after checking on it a second time telling them I was tired of watching everyone who ordered way after me get food one of the guys from the back who looked the oldest came up to the counter and admitted they made a mistake but offered no apology or resolution. Extremely happy with my order and the service. I ordered the "Shrimp Jessica Tuber" and was shocked how big the potato was, it was twice as big as my hand. It came with sliced mushrooms, bacon bits, chives, mozzarella cheese, and alfredo sauce! I told the lady up front I was visiting from Dallas and was actually going to the Subway next door but just saw the baked potatoes and wanted to try. Christina then took the time to explain the menu in detail and was very helpful and professional. I definitely recommend this place to the world! Only bummer is that they dont have a location...
