I’d give this Sonic 0 stars if google would let me. I’ve been to this Sonic multiple times. Usually the food is poor except one time I actually enjoyed it. Chicken strips and fries are far from fresh. Either cold or just appear like they were cooked earlier and sat all day keeping warm. I love a good cherry limeade and sonic is known for them. Every time and I mean every time I get a cherry limeade here there’s no cherry or lime in it. Just cherry syrup and sprite. How do mess up a cherry limeade? I know don’t put lime in it. Let’s just say I gave up my futile effort of enjoying a cherry limeade. To top it off and the reason I will never spend my money here ever again is today experience. Stopped in for a quick snack. Easy order. Medium onion ring, small fries, and a medium “chili” fries (I can’t eat cheese) for the family. Simple right. Get my order the first time and there is cheese on the chili fries. Tell the car-hop. Hey the order is wrong. Takes it back no problem. He proceed to bring the order back out. This time instead of “chili” fries they gave me bbq boneless wings. The car-hop had already gone back in so I took it in myself. At this point I’m a little irritated but things happen and they take the whole order back to make it right. Then they bring me half the order back out. Now me asking to get my whole order in a tone of voice that the incompetent car-hop takes as a threat to his intelligence because it caused a whole up-roar by this car-hop and general manager. The general manager reacted in a manner that sonic corporation would probably not appreciate from their leadership team for me asking to get my whole order back. She requested I give her my receipt even though I gave it to them already. At this point due to the reaction of the car-hop and the general manager I requested my money back and told the general manager that the employees in the back were incompetent to make simple fast food correctly. The general manager grabbed the bag of chili fries and crushed it. Then stormed to the back and slammed the swinging door saying I’m on break. He’ll get his money back when I get back from break. Well since she wanted to keep me in her store I proceeded to tell every customer of my fun experience and suggested they eat somewhere else if u want to get the correct order. At this point she came back and said stop telling customers of my experience. So I said give me my money back then. She said someone else will bring me my money go outside. So I went outside, got my money back, and left. Moral of the story is don’t visit this Sonic. Read moreI never leave reviews, but felt compelled after my terrible experience there today. I ordered a Raspberry lemon water with my meal. I live 4 hrs away from Goodland. When ordered from any Sonic in my town, they use fresh lemon. This sonic used the lemon flavoring which is horrible tangy. I went in and politely asked if I could have it made with fresh lemon instead and I apologized for not requesting fresh lemon in the first place. I explained that every sonic I have ever ordered from used fresh lemon. The carhop, Elke, was very sweet about it and went in the back to remake it. I could hear her talking with another female. That female rudely said “She asked for the lemon flavoring. (Not true) She did not ask for fresh lemon.” Her tone was nasty and she repeated it a couple times that I had not asked for fresh lemon (which I had already admitted) I could tell the carhop was uncomfortable when she came back out to give me the water. I left and we continued on our road trip. My food was cold and my sandwich was wrong. I ordered the full chicken sandwich but was given a smaller chicken slinger instead. It was cold and overcooked. What a waste of money. I never went back to correct my order- would have loved to hear the snide comments if I had. Read moreSonic is not a place that I would genuinely describe is good food. It's fast it's easy it's cheap. You pull into the parking spots for the outside ordering and car experience. However this location is a bit different.
Every other Sonic I have ever been to is soley an outside Eatery. If the weather was bad you're getting rain and wind in your car. However this one is different. It may not be unique there very well could be hundreds upon thousands of other locations out there that allow you to dine in... But I thought it was unique because I've never seen one before. You could enter the building order inside and pull up a seat and eat inside. Inside this location everything was clean. Everybody was nice and friendly. There was absolutely nobody that works there who were even remotely rude. It was a refreshing experience. We sat in a slightly separated room and the air conditioning was fantastic. Normally I'm not one for paying attention to the air conditioning but giving it was a hot day that room was kept nice and cool.
