Colectivo Coffee Grafton — Restaurant in Grafton

This was my first time sitting down and working at this coffee shop, and I'm severely disappointed. First of all, my drink came out warm...not hot. Then there are only three plugs in the entire place!! People were waiting to use plugs or waiting for people to move so they could sit in the seat near a plug. Luckily, y husband and I found a plug near the window. However, we were sitting close to the drink pick up station. We expected it to be louder because of the machines and names being called, but we didn't expect the baristas yelling over each other to carry on conversations that probably should not be had at work. Two baristas that were working were carrying on about how they didn't like their schedule and how some people were not holding up their end of the deal. Then two more baristas that were not working at the time, but just came in to visit came in. The conversation was brought up again very loudly. Let me tell you, everyone that was there understood that no one is happy. When I though the conversation was over, more baristas came to visit and sat pretty far away from the bar and brought up the scheduling and manager issues again! The topic came up three different times and each time very loudly. I couldn't even concentrate!! Not a place to go if you need to get work done! Baristas should know better than to have these types of conversations at work! And, if it is that big of an issue, bring it up with...

I used to go to Altera (now Colectivo) on a semi-regular basis before the pandemic. Due to their unreasonable and oftentimes authoritarian policies, I stopped going. It is Nurses week and my job had fun posters placed around that highlighted various things being offered in honor of the week. Among the fun items listed was a free iced coffee from Colectivo in person and on Monday only. I stopped in after work on Monday as indicated by the poster and asked the person at the register about the deal. She was polite and said that she was not aware of the offer and had to ask her manager. Unfortunately, the manager responded to her rather loudly that they were doing no such thing and went on to suggest that I had tried to pull a "fast one" by using some old promo from the past. I’ve been coming here for 10+ years and they’ve always been great up until recently on one of their items. I frequently order the turkey club and have been for years- it’s my favorite lunch item on the menu. However recently it’s been way lower quality. They used to be piled high with turkey, Swiss cheese and thick cut bacon. Now there’s barely any turkey on there, bacon that looks like it’s from the microwave, and today I had a flimsy piece of cheddar cheese instead of the Swiss that usually comes on it.
